This is a big room with a large bay window overlooking the crescent. There are two couches and a fold-down bed, so can sleep two, and be a comfortable place to sit during the day. The flat is shared with other people and there is one shower/bathroom. It is a lovely old flat with pine doors, and you can use the kitchen and big fridge. There will be simple breakfast available. There is plenty of space to be comfortable and you have enough storage for books. Great location.
There is a couch and a folding bed, and a large chair which does massage and is heated. The room is very spacious and has a large bay window, traditional slate fireplace, a dining table and several chairs, as well as bookcases and a tv. It is quite spacious.
Shared bathroom which is modernised with a powerful shower, large shared kitchen where you will have your own cupboard. There are two full bookcases.
I will organise a welcome to show you around and will be able to show you how things work. I will be able to be contacted by text if you have any urgent concerns, you will have support.
This is so close to the centre, yet is really quiet. And safe. I love that we have a crescent, and that there is a park just over the road. I love being so near to about ten cafes and eateries, as well as being able to walk up to the centre of town (about 7-10 minutes), where all the action is around George Street.
We are ten minutes downhill walk from the bus and train, as well as tram stop. There is a taxi rank just round the corner. Five busses pass with a block taking you all around town.
Mega supermarket one block away, as well as other smaller groceries, newsagents, antique shops, hairdressers, ethnic food and health food places.

I am often busy so don't spend much time interacting with the guests, and I am also working away from Edinburgh at this time. I am at the end of a text/phone for any questions that arise, and I make sure that you are settled in.
Mega Tesco supermarket one block away, as well as other smaller groceries, newsagents, antique shops, hairdressers, ethnic food places. We have the Botanical Gardens a few blocks north, and George Street and the Castle a few blocks up the hill from us, which are major centres for the festival activities. You can walk everywhere and it is very safe here in Canonmills. One lovely walk is along the Water of Leith which is round the corner.
Please do not break the law, and please be considerate of others in the property. I ask that you not to take too long in the shower as there is only one in our flat. I offer shampoo (in black container) and soap, which I hope you like. I have a washing machine, so would like you to load dishes into this, and un-load as needed, and generally leave the kitchen as you find it. But - mostly, have fun. Please respect the people who live there as they work in the mornings, and need to have a quiet home to live in. Thanks for staying with us in Edinburgh, and have a comfy stay. If there are any questions, please text me (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
