Surrounded by nature yet a 5 min drive to the biggest shopping centre in Botswana, this lovely home is perfect for bird enthusiasts or those wanting to unwind after a busy day. Ideal for a single person who likes some space or two people who want a room each but can accommodate two couples.
The First ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall-Smith begins at the foot of Kagle Hill. It is the prettiest part of Gaborone with the hill a 5min drive away where there are great tracks for running and hiking. Close to the city centre yet out of town, our house is ideal for those wanting to relax in nature after meetings or sight seeing. The old TV has no cable but there are DVDs for movie watching on a big screen, the CD player has seen better days but the CD collection gives a good taste of Africa and the Putumayo range.

Annig has lived in this house for 20 years. Originally belonging to TEBA (The Employment Bureau of Africa), she bought it 10 years ago and renovated keeping it close to the original style with cement floors and enclosed verandah. It is one of the older houses in Gaborone. The house operates using septic tanks so we go with the motto 'if its yellow let it mellow' and no forgiven objects should be flushed. There is a compost in the corner and recycling containers at the back of the plot. Once you have booked, an information sheet will be emailed to you with more details.
English, Spanish and French spoken.
Please do not feed the monkeys. Respect the space, conserve energy and water.
