Brand new, cool studio with exposed iron trusses one block from the historic centre of Budapest. It comfortably host a couple or small group of friends. Located in a "real" Budapest building it is the perfect pad for a short stay in the city

The space has been recently renovated in a cool/youngish style, using quality materials and trying to keep the spirit of the house.

It features a multifunctional area where the kitchen, living and social activities take place. The sleeping zone is situated on top of a mezzanine, accessible using a suspended stair, where a double mattress is available. The couch becomes a double bed if needed too. Comfortable bathroom featuring a Venetian shower is situated under the mezzanine.

Please, not that the building lacks a lift and it is located in a third floor

I will personally meet the guests (unless I'm not in Budapest) on arrival to handover the apartment as well as give advise or answer any question related to the apartment, the area or Budapest in general

The studio apartment it is situated in an 100-year-old building (which unfortunately is pending some paint refreshment and lacking a lift) in the neighbourhood called the Palace Quarter, on a walking distance (5-10 minutes) to landmarks like Váci St (shopping street), the Nagycsarnok (Central Market Hall), National Museum or Synagogue. Ráday street or Miksath square pedestrian areas, perfect for dining al fresco or having a drink after strolling the city are reached in 2 minutes walk.

Public transport is available right on the front door, but probably you won't need it. Metro line connecting to the airport bus is under 200 meters: the cheapest way to reach the airport!

For those environmentally-concerned travellers, during the reconstruction, the biggest part of the debris was either re used (bricks, tiles), up-cycled (iron beams and trusses, pipes) or recycled. The rest was disposed according to the regulations. Construction materials were acquired locally favouring greener ones (low CO2 cement, PVC free pipes, etc)

Gerar: I'm a Spanish nomad interested in meeting people, new cultures and enjoy life to the maximum possible level. Educated in Chemical Engineering, I have been working at the telecom industry for several years and now I take photos for Airbnb. My interests range from skiing, traveling, street art or photography to human rights and minority discrimination.

David: I'm a Budapest local with some international experience. I lived in Antwerp, Lisbon and Berlin for a few months. Studied literature, arts and philosophy. Besides good books I'm quite passionate about wine and good food and have a pretty in depth knowledge of Budapest - willing to share all my insider tips with you :-) If we meet at the check in then your chances are high that you'll meet my all time companion, the cutest dog on earth: Misha as well :-)
