Artisan made tiny house nestled in cedar trees next to a dairy goat pasture on a small family permaculture farm.

Walk to the beach and Kitsap Memorial State Park. Water view from edge of fenced yard, gardens, pond, farm animals in a peaceful farm & nature setting.

Le logement
This gorgeous tiny house was featured in "Small is Beautiful: A Tiny House Documentary." It has natural wood interior and cedar siding, and includes all the features and amenities one might need to cozy up under the cedar trees and enjoy a good book while the scent of cool salty air from the Salish Sea and sounds of farm animals tickles your senses.

Kitchen has all the amenities to cook and prepare meals yourself (toaster oven provided but no microwave), an eco-friendly Separett composting toilet, and double bed located up a simple ladder in a loft.

Bed in Loft: Before booking, be sure you and your guest are able to climb up and down a ladder with ease to reach the loft safely.

Farm Animal Noise: There is a small goat pasture with a few La Mancha dairy goats directly outside the window. Milking is from 830-930am and 630-730pm daily, so you will hear some noise of the goats calling during that time, and occasionally throughout the day.

There are chickens, ducks, turkeys and livestock guardian dogs at the back end of the lot approx 200+feet away near the forest and pond, so you will hear them too.

At night, goats are in the stable, birds in the coop, and dogs nearby. The livestock guardian dogs will bark occasionally at noise, so if you are a sensitive sleeper we recommend earplugs or can provide you with them if you need them.

Accès des voyageurs
The Tiny House is located under two cedar trees next to our goat pasture with a private entry. Parking for one vehicle directly in front of the tiny house, or on street.

Guests are welcome to explore the vegetable garden and forest next to the garden.

Access to farm area available by special arrangement only via one of our Farm Tours: ask us about our Poultry & Egg Gathering Experience, Goat Milking Demonstrations, and Wildcrafting Workshops.

Autres remarques
For stays over 6 nights, we charge an additional $75/week cleaning fee.

We offer an organic breakfast featuring farm eggs, hash browns or seasonal garden greens, sausage and a cup of coffee for $18/person at 9am. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance for our menu and to arrange a meal.

The Forest Farmstead is also a permaculture micro farm. We offer daily Goat Milking Demonstrations at 9:00am and Poultry 101 tours at 11am. Wildcrafting Workshops available at 4:30pm on some days. Message us to learn more.

The Tiny House is a pet-friendly place. You MUST contact us BEFORE booking with a pet. Pet rules:

+Pet fee is $25/pet per night.
+You must accompany your pet at all times.
+Pets may not be left alone unattended in the tiny house while you are out.
+Pets must be kept on a leash on the property.
+Please prevent your pet from approaching other animals on property.
+Thank you for picking up after your pet, bagging and disposing immediately in the outdoor trash bin.
+No pets on furniture. Pet must stay on ground floor. Do not bring pet in the sleeping loft.

***If you book without disclosing an animal and bring it on the property, your booking will be cancelled without refund and you will be asked to leave the property immediately, as the safety of the children, other guests, poultry, goats, cats and dog is at risk and it is a violation of our and AirBnB terms of service and agreements.***

Walking distance to the Puget Sound / Salish Sea, 2 blocks from Kitsap Memorial State Park. Excellent, convenient spot for wedding guests, cyclists and nature lovers. We are located on the old ferry road used in the past before the bridge was built, and still occasionally when the Hood Canal Bridge is closed.

Our Forest Farmstead farm is a small working permaculture farm in the early stages of design and implementation. We also offer Poultry 101 tours, goat milking demonstrations, and wildcrafting workshops. Message us to learn more.
