Our alcove studio comfortably sleeps two and has breathtaking views of the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor. It is on the water surrounded by parks, but also close to restaurants, shops, several tourist sites, buses, subways, and ferries.
This apartment is on the 31st floor with south-facing exposure and full views of New York harbor and downtown Manhattan, including the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The apartment is very quiet and has a back entrance directly to the Hudson River. The neighborhood is very safe, well-lit and patrolled by the park police even at night, and is surrounded by public parts, a pedestrian walking path along the water, playgrounds, shops, restaurants, and a marina.
The apartment comes equipped with linens; a kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, and a dishwasher; a television; and free Wifi internet. The bed sleeps two adults. There is a 24 hour doorman at the building entrance, and an elevator.
We rent this apartment with the permission of the building management, to ensure that everything follows local law. Because of this, we will ask you to submit a short application and a small credit check fee to them (usually $100-200, depending on how many people are needed to justify income). We have never had trouble getting any potential tenants approved, but this way both you and we can be reassured that everything is in line with NYC rental laws.
Please no smoking in the apartment, and no loud noise after 10pm. We are willing to consider pets on a case-to-case basis, but we reserve the right to charge an additional pet deposit and/or pet cleaning fees.
