We live in the beautiful Southern Pennines - great views, brilliant walking country - we are close to the Pennine Way.... as well as being in the heart of the historical Industrial heritage of Britain. Hills, canals, Mills - we have them all.
We are a mature couple, well travelled, and interested in meeting other travellers. We live in a quiet village in the foothills of the fabulous Pennine Hills, close to the Pennine Way. We have great walking country, fantastic views all on our doorstep. We live about 14m from Manchester, 3m from Rochdale and are close to motorways, rail and bus connections.
Our home is modern - warm in the winter - and comfortably furnished. You have your own room, and access to all the facilities in our home, including broadband internet. We have plenty of space to be quiet, or you can join with us in conversation. Our garden is well stocked with herbs and fruit, and is a peaceful place to sit and relax.
I cook fresh, nutritious meals daily - and I can cater for most special diets if you let me know beforehand.
Please be aware that we do have dogs which live in the home with us - they are polite and friendly.

I am a Homeopath, but mostly these days, I am a textile artist and I volunteer with local Art For Well-being groups. I also am a volunteer at a local specialist riding programme, promoting health and growth through working with animals (horses). I cannot live without some sort of artistic expression on a daily basis.... as well as Marmite on toast, and my husband Mike. We have travelled extensively but now are content to stay home with our dogs and leave international travel to others.
