We greet all guests to our home in person and give a tour around, we provide a served breakfast each morning (in the garden if the weather is nice), morning the best time to ask advise and pick my brain on things to do.
Our household is a friendly welcoming place to call home, the kettle is always on and we all respect each others sense of space.
Brixton Village has a great artisan market with fresh quirky restaurants and vintage clothing and craft shops, an independent cinema, coffee shops and a big department store in it's centre.
Its residential streets are beautiful leafy rows of terraced houses with convenience stores on every corner. Enjoy the best of both worlds being in a vibrant local neighbourhood yet close to the centre of London within 15- 20 mins away by tube or train and with lots of buses past all major sights too.
Brockwell Park is a stone's throw away, where you can admire the views of the City, West End, the London Eye (South Bank) and the Docklands.
There are cafés, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacies and shops 200m away.
We have a bus stop 200m away with a frequent stream of buses* (all passing the tube) and onto all parts of the city. The nearest station Brixton gets you to Victoria in 8mins and Oxford Circus in 12mins.
200m you can pick up any of 8 buses to all parts of London going to ALL major sights on a single bus ride (London Eye, Big ben, Westminster Abbey, Downing St, Nelson's Column, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, Covent Garden, Oxford-,Regent-, Carnaby Street, Marble Arch, Hyde Park as well as major train stations: Waterloo-, Liverpool Street-, London Bridge-, Blackfriars-, Euston-, King's Cross and St Pancrass International Station.

Hi I am Francien!
I love the great city I have called home for the last 41 years and enjoy discovering new places in it every day. I am originally from Indonesia and the travel bug still strong in me as I love exploring new places and cultures. I have been to Germany (where I studied), Jordan, Turkey, Spain, Italy, India, France, Sri Lanka and Portugal, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, all in the last 5 years! And with airbnb I can keep learning of people and places even if it is from the comfort of my living room or kitchen. As they say " kitchen is the heart of a home".
I am happy to share my home and have lots of handy tips for you to make the most of your time and budget.
I invite you to come and stay with me in my comfortable London Victorian Terraced home that is directly opposite a big park and well connected to all parts of the city. Please feel free to ask me any questions, practical or fun, to get the most out of your visit before and during your stay.
"Sir, when a man is tired of London, is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford" -a quote of Dr Samuel Johnson, English writer in 18th century, is still true today.
