À propos de ce logement
Welcome to my spare double room! Perfect for holiday makers or business travellers. The house is quirky & spacious, with weights gym & outdoor pool table . 5 mins from the M40, 30 mins walk to the trainline into London. Loads of parking & privacy.
Beautiful house, with gym in garage, large garden and pool table, ample parking, all the facilities you could need, wifi, hair dryer, towels, ironing board, desk, etc. The room has a small TV/DVD with freeview. Excellent transport links, especially by road. The Town centre has been redeveloped and is 20 mins walk to cinema, bowling, restaurants and shops. You'll barely need to leave the room but if you do the house and occupants are lovely (if i say so myself). Come and try it and judge for yourself. Would make a perfect alternative to a hotel for a business traveller.

Échanges avec les voyageurs
Limited to no interaction. I work more than full time and am rarely home. There is a key lock to access the property and no guarantee we will meet.
My sisters dog is here 9-5pm 4 days a week. His name is Elvis, he is a long-haired Chihuahua with an exceptional temperament. He will love your attention if you're here but you need to be careful not to let him out the front door.
I'm happy to accept other pets as long as you can manage not damaging the cream carpets :-)
Basic House Code of Conduct
It’s pretty straight forward here:
•There is loads of space on the driveway, park in a way that means other people can get their cars in and out still
•Please take your shoes off on arrival
•Please ensure the dog does not go out the front door (and get him back if he does)
•Unless you’re in the house on your own be aware of others in the house and keep the noise down early in the morning, late at night or at all times if I’m working from home
•Please do what you can to reduce your environmental impact. In the double cupboard behind the door as you enter the kitchen is a bag for mixed dry recyclables and a cardboard box for paper and cardboard recycling. Please use them. Food waste goes in the green bin by the fridge
•Leave the heating controls as they are, everything is set on thermostatic and time control. If you are cold let me know and I will make adjustments
•Re-use your towels and sheets as much as possible if you are staying multiple nights but let me know if you want them changed
•Feel free to route in cupboards and help yourselves to plates and crockery in the kitchen if you need it. Just avoid the cupboards marked as Stephens.
•Please use your own shampoos and shower gels and don’t use other peoples products in the bathroom. If you are missing something let me know.
•Please keep the main house clean and tidy and tidy up after yourselves. Feel free to put things in the dishwater.
I am asthamatic. Please don't smoke on or near the property. If you must smoke please go outside and away from the house and dispose of any cigarette buts externally to the house
I own this gorgeous house in High Wycombe which has been a labour of love for me. I'm 32 and live with my lodger Stephen, with regular visits from my sisters dog Elvis. I'm obsessed with fitness and nutrition and you'll mostly find me at work or training for kickboxing, which is my passion. I also love to cave, climb, cycle, weight train and do anything active and adventurous. I'm very sociable but usually i'm running around like a headless chicken between work and training so i keep myself to myself, especially during the week, and rarely sit still or stop to chat.
I can't live without green tea, laughter, sweat, friends and an occasional red wine.
I love meeting new people but i won't bother you much as i won't have time and am barely here. I will be a fairly hands off host realistically. The house is rarely occupied much in an evening, which is shame, and one of the many reasons i have listed it. I hope you can enjoy it as much as i do in the time you stay.
I don't provide breakfast but feel free to bring anything you want and put it in the fridge. You are welcome to borrow any cupboard essentials and use any of the facilities. Just don't offer me anything sweet as i'm a former overweight person and compulsive overeater so nowadays i only keep healthy foods in the house!
If you do stay i'd like you to feel comfortable and at home. Wear your pyjamas. ..root around in cupboards for what you need and play the piano badly. I'm really friendly, open and down to earth and will take you for who you are and enjoy getting to know you in the 5 minutes i will likely have spare to say hi :-)
