Le logement n'est pas adapté aux bébés (jusqu'à 2 ans).
Indigenous Homestay is local house in Mù Cang Chải, Yên Bái where my family of six people live. We have decided to open our house to help travellers learning more about the daily life of Hmong people, an ethnic minority mostly living in the north of Vietnam. When you arrive here you will not only enjoy the ravishing beauty of rice terrace fields but also see the real life, culture, culinary specialties, folklore, traditional costume, and activities of natives in this region.

Le logement
Six people live in this house, including my parents, old brother, sister-in-law, and two nephews. They speak the Hmong language, a little Vietnamese, but not English. They mostly use body language to communicate with guests then if necessary I am a phone call away. The home has three main areas and a separate kitchen. Because this is a traditional house, there is no facilities such as fridge, washing machine, or a modern bed, so when you come here you will learn how to live like a local. My family will show you how to do daily activities like grind the grains by the millstone to make special cakes, cook, wash your clothes. When you arrive, the family will welcome you with a glass of special rice wine and you will sleep in the guest's bedroom which has enough space for four guests. If you like to experience indigenous culture and explore a new lifestyle then come to this beautiful place and you will forget the amenities you are used to!

La Pán Tẩn, Yên Bái, Vietnam

Indigenous homestay is located in Hấu Đề, La Pán Tẩn, Mu Cang Chai, Yên Bái, Vietnam.
No coffee shops, restaurants, highways, crowds, or any commercial shops are in our village. But instead we have exquisite landscapes such as the fascinating beauty of rice fields, the quaint old village buildings, the multicolored flowers of the peaches, plums, vegetables, and jungle plants. You can enjoy the panoramic views of the terrace fields from my house or anywhere nearby, you can also hire a motorbike to discover the mystic, dreamy, and elegant Raspberry Hill and the ancient village here. In the night, everything goes to sleep; if you come from a big city then you will be amazed by the tranquil surroundings. You will fall in love with life here.

The people in my house don't speak English except me, and I am studying at university in Hanoi far from my home. They will use their body language to communicate with you, or call me to help if needed. Travelling is about experiencing new places and learning to communicate even if you don’t share a language with people, and I believe that all things here will give you valuable experiences.
