Welcome to Om House, which is a part of Agriturismo Pereti, one of the oldest agriturismi in the area, which has been in business for more than two decades. The Om House is a small but charming independent building with a tiny entrance hall, a fairly large bedroom and a medium size bathroom (sink, shower, toilet, bidet). It has has been completely renovated (new decor, new paint inside and outside with some new furniture pieces.
The house is located next to our large swimming pool. The pool is never too busy as we only have 2 other rooms for rent.
The house is surrounded by lots of exotic greenery and olive trees. When you step out you will get to see the island of Giglio and the rolling hills of Maremma. A small pond is just few feet away. The main building where we serve breakfast is less about 30 meters away.
Breakfast is available daily for 7,50 euros/person. Our ability to cook dinners is limited this year because of family responsibilities.

We are present in the morning during breakfast time. We are also accessible on the phone during the day. If you would like we can arrange private tours, or wine and olive tasting.
Our farm is surrounded by hills, and medieval towns. However, you will need a car to get there, or a have a hiking spirit to get around. There are no services in the immediate neighborhood. So, if you are looking for city excitements, our place may not be a good fit. We are surrounded by other farms and few vacation homes, but all are too far to even see them from the property. Most of the sounds you notice will be coming from nature (like chickens, deer, wild boar). We also have a dog and a cat!
Pereti farm is very quite and very private. yet, we are not far from cities and exceptionally beautiful hill villages like (Roccatederighi -4K) or Massa Marittima (25K), the city of Grosseto (25K), developed as well as natural beaches (about 30K), wineries (3-5K) and historical sites and museums. Siena is only over an hour away. Our guests enjoy day trips to Pisa, Lucca, Firenze, Voltera and San Gimignano. Several medieval castles are only a hike away!
Since we are away from hustle and bustle, do not expect a bus stop on the property. :) We can arrange a pick up at the airport or train station, but the fact is that most clients arrive by cars (or bikes). Parking is available free of charge next to the main house.
There are limitless possibilities for hiking and biking around and and we will gladly show you where to go or can even guide you on a trail should you be interested.
If you need to shop for basic groceries, Ribolla (5 km), or Roccatederighi (4 km) are your closest villages with all your basic grocery needs.
We are 4 km away from the medieval villageRoccatederighi and 5 km away from Ribolla with full services (grocery stores, post office, vegetable market, trattorias and restaurants). If you want to eat out, you will need you car to get around.
There are many attractions to explore on foot or on bikes.
Terme Petriolo is a must if you stay with us for a few days. These are free hot springs with a tradition going back to the Roman and Etruscan times. The healing termal water is particularly good for your muscoloskeletal circulatory system, it reduces stiffness and is anti inflammatory. The water has nearly 42 degrees Celsius! You can cool down in the adjacent river when you get hot.
Beaches are about 30 minutes away. Our favorite is Castiglione della Pescaia - a 5 km long stretch of an open undeveloped beach south of the city. Another favorite is Cala Violina - south of Follonica and Marina Alberese (south of Grosseto) for its unspoiled pristine environment.
Cities to visit: Pisa (1 hr. 20 min.) Florence (1 hr. 30 min.), Siena (1 hour), Grosseto (25 min.), Follonica (30 min.), Rome (2 hrs), Lucca (1 hr 30 min.) Volterra (1 hr. 30 min.), San Gimignano (1 hr. 35 min).

ADAC Reisemagazin Toskana once wrote this about Pereti: "The ideal place for the stressed manager”. But we actually think, that even unstressed folks can benefit from a place we affectionately call Pereti Paradiso. If you look for peace, silence, relaxation and tranquility in a warm homelike atmosphere, search no more :).

I am a happy husband of my wife Marketa and also a happy father of our son Adam Matyas. I love living on our farm away from the city buzz, away from smoke, pollution and crowds. Yet, I love meeting people, so serving our guests is a perfect outlet and hobby at the same time. I love cooking gourmet dinners, and love it when our guests leave happy. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, chi-gong, and meditation. Since I traveled a lot in past as a professional musician, I enjoy not to travel at the moment and staying home with the family. I am attracted to anything creative, whether it is playing with tools in my garage, playing flute or learning new games from my son. I love to explore, discover and change status quo. I am already curious to know who you are and look forward to meeting you.
