We are available & willing for interaction with our guests throughout the weekends. We are on site 10-6 Fri, Sat & Sun below cabin for kayak rental and tent sites.

We welcome well behaved dogs (up to two) on a leash when others are on property. We just ask that you clean up after them with doggy bags provided under cabin & use couch covers over dryer. A $50 pet fee is due upon arrival.
Treat our place like you would your home. We recycle paper, alluminum, & type 1&2 plastic, compost veggie scraps & try to live as environmentally conscious as possible. Well behaved dogs are welcome with "prior notice", kept on leash, picked up after, with a nonrefundable $50 pet fee due upon arrival. Smoking outside cabin allowed using provided ashtrays. Do no harm & leave it better than you found it are two of our favorite mottos.
Most people would describe us as tree huggin' hippies or hipsters. But, we don't like labels, so we are neither of those things. For our mundane day jobs, we both work in the medical field, but our true passion lies in gardening, travel, & outdoor adventuring (kayaking, camping etc). We have a strong love of homesteading and living off the land. Some of these passions include brewing kombucha, soap making, canning, herb gardens, and repurposing.
We have a passion for supporting local small businesses. We enjoy listening to local artists. When we travel, we try to plan our trips around where the locals eat, seeking out restaurants that use local food sources and immerse ourselves in our surroundings. And, that is why we love Airbnb. They give you the perfect starting point.
If your sense of adventure or interests in any of these hobbies align, visit us on your next trip through Appalachia.
