The holiday apartment is a good starting point for an active holiday in Norway. In the immediate vicinity you have access to fishing, canooing, hiking, climbing, Via ferrata, riding, cycling on the road cycling on the trail, enduro, snowmobil, Hemsedal ski resort, randone, off-piste, cross country skiing, paragliding and lots other possibilities. Centrally located in Norway. Get ready for a great vacation with a wide variety of activities and experiences in the immediate vicinity!

Le logement
The apartment is located on Ulsåk, on the north side of RV 52, right at the exit to Moen camping, approx. 500 meters from Kiwi on Ulsåk.
When you come from Gol, Storehorn is on the right side of the road. You have 3 black apartment buildings, and Storehorn is the largest of the 3.
Door code to enter the building and into the apartment will be sent to you prior to arrival.
Private apartment with 2 bedrooms and 5 beds, kitchen with, livingroom, bathroom, hallway and a private balcony. Parking outside. Big laundrey room in the basment. Common terrace on the 3 th floor. The apartment was fully renovated in 2019.
The apartment is approx. 45 sqm with private balcony facing north west. The apartment is up a flight of stairs and the door to the left on the 2nd floor. No. 62 is at the very bottom of the hallway to the right .
Living room with kitchen area, entrance hall with wardrobe, 1 bedroom, 1 sleeping alcove, 1 shower, 1 WC.
The kitchen includes: refrigerator with freezer, stove, dishwasher, tea maker, coffee maker, soda streamer, baking machine. Otherwise, the kitchen is well equipped with lots of utensils. There is a dining area for 4 at the round table which can be increased to 6 by inserting a plate. Extra chairs are available.
Bedroom 1: 1 double bed 160 cm. Sleeping alcove 1: 1 doble bed 150 cm with a bunk bed above 70 cm.
Bathroom, shower, WC.
Living area with corner sofa. TV is internet TV. You can use your own TV app as TV holds Comcast. Wifi is included.
The balcony has 2 chairs and one table and a chaise lounge.
In the basement there is a large laundry with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. You need a key to get in to the laundrey room.
The building also has two large furnished communal terraces with a shared grill that can be used. You can not use a grill on our private balcony. Very good sun conditions on the communal terraces.
Outdoor parking in the gravel area.
Final cleaning included, but you need to do coarse cleaning. The rrfrigerator must be emptied and dried off and all garbage must be disposed of before departure. If you bring a dog or cat, it should not lie in the furniture, and you must vacuum the apartment free of hair before you go as it is not included in the cleaning.

Balcony:
2 chairs and one folding table, and a lounge. Under the lounge there is a pillowcase with pillows, sheepskin and blankets that can be used outside. The sheepskin can be taken on tour but must be put back in the pillow case in a dry state!

Heating:
Heating cables bath, the temperature will be 15 degrees when you arrive, and remember to put it down to 15 before you leave.
Panel ovens under all windows. All panel heaters should stand at 15 degrees when you go. This also stands at 15 degrees when you arrive.

Important: No smoking allowed! If you smoke on the balcony cigarette butts should be collected and thrown straight into the container and not in the garbage inside!
The apartment is equipped with a separate set of house rules that must be read. These will also sent to you in advance.

Laundry:
Laundry room in the basement with 2 machines and 2 dryers, coarse sink and possibility of hanging clothes are available.

Garbage:
Container on the outside of the building.

FIRE ALARM:
Fire alarm is connected in series and will be triggered by fire in one of the apartments in the building. Fire alert automatically to the fire department. If you accidently set of the alarm you have to call the firedepartment. Nr is placed on the inside of the hallway door. Here you also have a description on how to reset the alarm. Smoke detector in the hallway and in the living room.

ON DEPARTURE:
The apartment must be tidy, all panel heaters are turned down to 15 degrees. Heating cables bathroom screwed down to 15 degrees. Refrigerator and freezer are on but you empty and clean this. Make sure the freezer door is closed. Duvets / pillows / beds are organized as described under the contents of each room. All rubbish is thrown in a container. If you have brought animals with you, you must vacuum the apartment well so that it becomes hair-free as this is not included in the cleaning. The apartment should be left in the condition it was when you arrived.
Lock the balcony door

No smoking in the apartment, if you smoke on the balcony or outside the house, cigarett butts should be thrown in the container and not in the garbage bin indoors!

IMPORTANT:
Bring your own bed linen and towels!
Toilet paper and any towel roll, hand soap / shower soap, tea light and napkins is also things you should bring with you. You ca use everyting else in the apartment, but if it emtys out then you have to bay it back :-)
You must be 25 years of age to stay at Storehorn. We do not rent to younger ones, nor do we rent to parents who rent for their children. We have an agreement with a security company and if this rule is broken then there is an eviction on the day.

I work as a General Manager in Handelsbanken Drammen in Norway. I am living on a quiet little farm with my partner. We have no children but we do have a small white dog. Love traveling, the outdoors and sports. Skiing - randoneê, off-piste, downhill and cross country skiing, mountain hikes and outdoor activities. I have been to many places in the world and love to experience new cultures. Music, books and food are important indigenees in my life. As a guest I am a responsible and calm person. I'm not the one that party all night. I am the one who's up at 7am to watch the sunrise with a good cup of coffee.
