À propos de ce logement
Excellent space for a researcher/business traveler who needs a private office while in the area. The space is the upstairs of a three level townhouse that has a bedroom, master bath with tub, hall bath, and separate office with lots of light.
This is a three level townhouse; the upstairs is available while I am out of town at a wedding and visiting relatives (I am the owner).
The lower level is occupied by a Georgetown University employee (a thirties male sports coach). He leaves the house around 6:45, is very quiet, and was background checked by Georgetown upon his employment.
Accès des voyageurs
You will have the upstairs -- bedroom, two baths, and office to yourself. You will share the kitchen.

This situation is best for an independent traveler as I will be out of town. I can provide advice via phone or text and friends who can help me out if you need anything.
Close to Shirlington Village in Arlington, Del Ray, Old Town Alexandria, Washington DC. This is a ten to fifteen minute ride to National Airport.
There are buses right outside the community that go to the Pentagon metro. About 30 minutes to Washington DC without traffic -- during rush hour, best to take the bus to the metro. Taxis and Uber drivers are plentiful.
There are buses right outside this townhouse community which will take you to the Pentagon metro station, but this is not walk to metro. This is a quiet environment with no television on the main level or in the upstairs.
Civilized behavior is a must! No smoking, no drugs, no crazy inebriation, and no pets. The downstairs tenant is friendly but very busy with his career. He leaves early in the morning, so no partying/excessive noise!

Hi -- I live in historic Alexandria, Virginia, just across the Potomac from Washington DC. I'm originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and have lived in Denmark and France. I love foreign languages, specifically French and Italian. I love both big cities and natural settings; favorite trips in recent years have been to Iceland, to Parma, Italy for the Verdi Festival, and twice to Zion National Park to climb Angel's Landing. I just returned from a horseback riding clinic in Kentucky. My current dream is to escape Washington DC's summer heat and humidity.
I like quiet settings and like to socialize in small groups -- I prefer intimate dinner parties to large and noisy cocktail parties, walking in nature rather than walking through a shopping mall, and Siggi's Icelandic Yogurt to Yoplait.
I own rental property and have had very good luck with tenants. I appreciate someone taking good care of my property and I would take good care of yours!
