The penthouse contains two twin bedrooms with a really comfy sofa bed in the lounge, a large fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and heating in all rooms, lift access, underground parking and a luxury massage hot tub on the terrace.

The place sleeps up to 6, 4 in the two bedrooms and 2 on the sofa bed (ideally two children)
The nearest beach is the Mar Menor, 12km away, this is the real gem of the region, great for swimming, sailing and general fun!
A car is advisable as there's lots to see and do in the region, though if it's a short break just for some downtime then a taxi or pre arranged transfer to/from the airport works too. Just ask me to arrange this for you.
There is Lift access to the property as well as directly from the underground parking, where you benefit from an allocated parking space, which makes things easy with children and shopping. The nearest amenities are a short walk away.
In terms of features and facilities I think most bases are covered, let me know if anything is missing. You have: the luxury of a jacuzzi / Hot tub with Shiatsu massage complex, this has 42 jets i believe and is a fine way to end a day, watching the sunset over the hills.

La Torre Golf Resort benefits from a range of restaurants, bars, five star Intercontinental hotel, SPA, beauty salon, medical centre, supermarket, bike hire , ice cream parlour, conference centre and of course the superb Nicklaus-designed 18 hole golf course.

The resort has everything you need for a family or golfing holiday. There are several more golf courses within a short drive, plus plenty of places to visit in the region. The beaches of the Mar Menor are only 10-15 minutes drive, as is the airport of San Javier.

The penthouse has a large terrace overlooking the golf course and lake toward the Clubhouse, with dining furniture seating 6 and 2 reclining sunbeds.

A further terrace leading from the kitchen is perfect for breakfast overlooking the pool or simply for golf club storage. The penthouse has one of the resorts large pool complexes on either side and is not overlooked.
PLEASE read house rules regarding the apartment servicing fee of 60 euros payable upon arrival.

All parts of the property are open to you as are all public areas of the resort.

If I'm in Spain I will meet guests myself but more often than not guests are looked after by my property management team who are English , efficient and knowledgeable of the resort and area.
I will handle the enquiry and any questions you may have up until your arrival and then the local team will be your point of contact for everything as they are on site and can react immediately. I will remain available via email and airbnb chat messaging in any case.

For short stays taxis are easy to arrange but if staying for a week or more or if you will want to leave the resort then a car is recommended.

Please note the cleaning fee of 60 EUROS is payable upon arrival to the property manager or myself. This includes a meet and greet at the resort entrance, familiarisation with the apartment layout and general info on the resort, and lastly it also covers the post departure cleaning of the apartment and linen etc.

Please do read the HOUSE MANUAL so you have the necessary phone numbers for the property mangers, this is essential to get keys and access to the property.

Also the property management team charge 20 euros extra for late arrivals after 22.00 and 10 euros for extra guests beyond 4 (so total 6 guests=20 euros extra)

Please use the underground parking beneath the apartment, there are always lots of spaces available but 428 is ours and refrain from parking on the street as the local police are issuing fines for cars parked on the street. The remote control for the garage will be issued by the property managers upon arrival and must be returned at check out.

There are rubber wrist bands in the apartment to use when swimming in the pools. This identifies you as a guest, and security may ask to see the bands.

Otherwise please look after the place and leave it as you would hope to find it, there is often a bottle of wine or something nice in the apartment, feel free to enjoy this if you find it.

The house was clean and the complex was very secure and quite during the off season. It was definitely an advantage to have a car in this area for exploring the surroundings. We had a nice stay and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and looking out over the golf course.

Steve is fine. He has a guy helping with the renting. The inventory is a little used and we did need some basics like forks, warm water and other things. But the place is great and really beautiful it is a lovely sunset and a nice apartment.

Steve's flat is well equipped for cooking at home and enjoying the view across the golf resort and mountains. I would suggest having a car is better here if your not staying for golf and wanting to explore like we did. It's easy drive to cartegena and beautiful drive to battery del Castillo. Thanks Steve and David.

I loved the good views of the golf course , the pool just down there. The accomodation is very comfortable . The resort has some good places to eat and also to have a night out. We enjoyed that very much

Nous avons profité d'un bel appartement très bien équipé,très bien placé.Bien que nous n'ayons pas été en contact direct avec Steve tout s'est très bien passé grâce à David son manager,vraiment serviable.Calme absolu à cette époque,beaucoup de golfs à proximité.Que du bon.Le spa est un plus très très appréciable en fin de bouteille laissée par Steve( 3 en fait mais nous n'avons pas osé les boire toutes!) était très agréable. En conclusion un séjour très réussi dans un appartement vraiment accueillant.A recommander

I bought the place in Murcia in 2006 and really enjoy every visit. However these visits seem few and far between with work and other travel commitments so I thought Airbnb could showcase it for me, who knows it might even contribute towards the mortgage!!
My style of travel is definitely ad-hoc, on the hoof, pick a destination and go, preferably by motorcycle.
