Full use of this beautiful spacious house in central Southsea. Four large bedrooms, good bathroom facilities. Adult/ family luxury and great value, close to the seaside. Parking , garden, terrace. Sleeps 10/12. Cot available.

Large hall, lounge, dining room and kitchen, additional WC. Ideal for families or adult groups sharing.

2. A large triple room with kingsize bed, single bed and west facing balcony. Luxury shower and toilet facilities.

4. A light airy, triple room with kingsize bed and a single. Overlooks front of house. Ensuite bathroom.

5. Sofa bed in sun lounge plus sofa in lounge.

Salterton Lodge is a well kept, well managed and friendly household which is maintained to a high standard. We aim to offer luxury accommodation at a reasonable price and very warm hospitality to our guests. In return we ask for respect, courtesy and consideration for others.

We are a short walk from the Sea, the Beach, the Promenade, Kings Theatre, Albert Road, Elm Grove, Palmerston Road, Southsea Common and Southsea Castle. Gun Wharf Quays, Shops, cafés, theatre, pubs, bars are all close by.

Thank you for such a lovely stay! We had a great time chilling with the girls, the house was quiet and large enough to hang out in but also close to bars, shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back - all the girls loved it. Thank you Anne!

House is beautiful! Anne was very accommodating and left breakfast for us and came to greet us upon arrival! House is very close to the town centre and all the taxis we got into Gunwarf Quays were a steal all at around £5! (Coming from Brighton this is so cheap as cab fares are ridiculous here!) the surrounding area is lovely and very quiet - central but residential at the same time! We had a slight problem with the water but Anne addressed this as soon as told! The roof terrace and the lovely grand bath in master bedroom were our favourite parts of the house! Great house, great location and great host! Highly recommended!

Anne's house was ideal for my family of 5 adults and four children as a location to stay for my son's wedding. The accommodation offered plenty of space to relax without feeling 'on top of each other' resulting in a lovely stress free weekend, enjoyed by us all. Anne was there to greet us when we arrive and to give us a comprehensive tour around the house and we found the house provided everything we needed. There are shops and restaurants within a short distance and a bus service runs into town and to local tourist sites if required. Thank you Anne for a great weekend at 9 Nelson Road!

Just returned from a week at 9 Nelson Rd and would thoroughly recommend for a large party break near the sea. We were 9 in total, 6 adults, 1 five year old and 2 toddlers, and had plenty of room. With kids, we had to eat in most of the time and the kitchen is well equipped and everything works. Walking distance to central Southsea, shops, restaurants, the sea front and Gun Wharf Quays. Pleasure to deal with Anne who was most helpful.

We received a really warm welcome from Anne who had kindly left us some wine, chocolates and other supplies for our stay. There were 8 of us in the group and there was more than enough space for all of us - the house has lovely big rooms and the three bathrooms came in handy. The house is close to local shops and is about a 15 minute walk from the seafront. I'd highly recommend staying here, we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

I have lived in Southsea for many years and can advise and guide visitors to the area if required. We are within easy walking distance of the seafront, the beach and Old Portsmouth as well as many other interesting and historical features.

This year we see Victorious Festival, The Americas Cup, weekly music at Southsea bandstand, The Wedgewood Rooms and many more Summer activities in Portsmouth and Southsea.
