Hi, we are Laura and Łukasz, the Pani gospodyni and Pan gospodarz (that’s the polish for host and hostess!) at the Lady Linden in York, PA. A little about us: Lukasz grew up in Poznań, Poland and came to the US to study the cello at Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. He is now a cellist in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. When he isn’t playing his cello or spending time at home you will find him on his bike. He is an avid road cyclist and often will ride his bike to Baltimore for orchestra rehearsal. He also loves to plan rides, so if you are a cyclist he would love to help you map out a great ride through the rolling hills of York County. I (Laura) grew up in Wilkes-Barre, PA (where everyone was polish but me) and moved to York in 2000 for school. I am an opera singer and a Realtor. I love performing and teaching in addition to thinking up the next tasty thing I can serve for breakfast! I have two sons that are 6 and 8 and spend 50% of the time with us at the Lady Linden. They love it as much as we do! We look forward to getting to know you! York is a town full of fun things to do and we are happy to give you suggestions!
