À propos de ce logement
Hola! Casita de las Flores is the affordable San Miguel de Allende hotel alternative—San Miguel’s very own B&K (a cheap, cool bed and breakfast, but with kitchen instead of breakfast). A comfortable, friendly, clean, slightly unconventional alternative to expensive San Miguel B and B s and hotels, the Casita is more fun, and much kinder to your budget. Plus, we have a fully-equipped kitchen where guests can cook any time. So you can have an affordable stay in San Miguel, eat what you want when you want, and spend all the cash you save on Mexican adventures and goofy gifts for friends and family (don’t forget Aunt Ida—you know how she gets). ole!
We offer free purified water, wifi and all the butterflies you can stare at (in season).
fyi — We are family friendly, pet friendly and just plain friendly friendly. We cater especially to travelers, adventurers and artists of all ages who want to visit the real San Miguel de Allende, not a fancy gringo version of it. If you’d like to experience real life in Mexico, the Casita is the perfect place to stay while pursuing your interests, be they Spanish classes, art classes (painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture etc.), shopping at our great markets and boutiques, or just a relaxing vacation in San Miguel, one of Mexico’s most exquisite and best-preserved historic colonial towns.
We’d be honored to host your visit to to San Miguel. If you have any questions, or if you’d like to make a reservation, please send us an email or visit our reserve page. Bienvenidos!

Welcome to Casita de las Flores, San Miguel de Allende's cheap, comfy and slightly unconventional B&K (Bed & Kitchen.) We aim to be your best and most fun home away from home while you explore the colonial beauty and rich cultural life of San Miguel.
All in all, I’ve been roaming these cobblestones for around 15 years. As I got older, I often had a camera in tow. The photos of San Miguel on our listing reflect my feelings for the dreamy pueblo in which I spent a large part of my childhood.
I’m a writer, photographer, designer, entrepreneur, travel junkie, aspiring yogini, and professional dabbler. I started Casita de las Flores from scratch in 2002 (a decade ago!), and then ran it pretty much by myself for 7 years—24/7, no breaks. Now, I finally get to travel a bit, so please do not be offended if I don’t make an appearance during your stay. I promise you will be well taken care of by Flor, my bilingual right hand miracle woman, and our wonderful staff.
No matter where I am, I’m still hovering over the Casita— like a fairy travel godmother — making sure that things run smoothly and fervently hoping you’ll enjoy your stay. You can always reach me via email if you need anything. (Especially if you want to send lavish praise and travel donations. : )
And please, always remember that we really do care about you having a great stay with us, so please give us a chance to solve any problems you may encounter while you’re here, before giving us a bad review. (If we ignore you, you can totally trash us.)
Good reviews (here and on TripAdvisor) are truly, madly, deeply appreciated.
Wishing you happy travels and many adventures!
