A stylish Victorian cottage with a modern interior, which backs onto beautiful Marble Hill House and park, which in turn sweeps down to the River Thames between Richmond and Twickenham Riverside. Located in one of the most prestigious streets.
The Terrace Cottage is newly renovated with a modern interior. Sitting room with two sofas and flat screen digital TV, DVD player and wireless broadband. Open plan dining room and kitchen, with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and multi fuel cooker. Double doors lead into a small conservatoty. Gas central heating and constant hot water. Also downstairs, a compact modern bathroom with white suite and shower over the bath. Open staircase leads to two bedrooms, the larger bedroom has a standard double divan and the small bedroom two single divans and double doors lead out onto a private and secluded roof terrace with table and chairs.
The cottages are located in one of the most prestigious streets in the area, surrounded by stunning early eighteenth century architecture, with two houses boasting blue plaques. There is no through traffic making the street very quiet.
The cottage is within a short walking distance of St. Margaret's for local shops, restaurants, pubs, Twickenham film studios and station, with trains to London Waterloo and a ten minute walk to Richmond which has great shops, theatres, cinemas, riverside restaurants and bars, as well as the underground and trains to Central London, Ascot, Windsor and Eton. Bus shop within a few yards of the cottage with numerous buses to Richmond, Twickenham, Kew, Heathrow and Hampton Court. Ferry service across the Thames during the summer months to Ham House, Petersham Polo Ground and Richmond Park or walk along the tow-path to both Richmond and Twickenham. Also, nearby are Kew Gardens, Bushey Park, Twickenham Rugby Ground, Syon House and Hampton Court Palace.
STAIRCASE: The staircase is steep and not suitable for very young children, or anyone infirm. A Child gate can be supplied upon request.
PETS: We may consider taking one larger or two small well behaved dogs, however, this will incur any extra charge of £25 per dog.
CLEANING: We ask that you leave the cottage clean and tidy on departure, however, if left in an unacceptable state this will incur an extra cleaning charge which will stopped out of the security deposit.
PARKING: Parking is restricted, please enquire before booking.
