We open our home to you, sharing our vegetarian kitchen and other living spaces, but the guest rooms are on a separate level with semi-private entrance, so privacy is easy too. Walking distance to all Grass Valley and Empire Mine. We keep the house as fragrance-free as possible. Access to the guest room is by stairs, so please be comfortable climbing and descending stairs. Please have a photo of yourself and a profile when requesting a stay, and let us know why you're visiting.
Our kitchen is vegetarian. Dairy and eggs are ok.
No scented products, please (incense, perfume, aftershave, others products with fragrance, e.g., essential oils).
No smoking on the property.
Massage/cranial office, so quiet during the week. The guest room is directly below our bedroom. We're quiet especially when guests are here.
Stairs to enter home and between floors (NOT wheelchair accessible).
We have 2 cats in the shared part of the house, but they are not allowed on the floor where guests stay.

Louise is a massage therapist specializing in craniosacral work as well as an artist. Ed is a photographer and writer. Our large home includes Louise's office and an art studio and a photo studio. We bicycle and hike locally, around California, and in Grand Canyon. We both cook. Our kitchen is vegetarian. We share our home (almost) completely. We're within easy walking distance of most things in Grass Valley, including Empire Mine State Park, and just 5 minutes from Nevada City.
