Public access to the Beach with solid concrete steps and a hand railing is a very short 70 meter walk away.

Yellow Point is a great spot for nature lovers. Stuart Channel is teeming with marine mammals and birds.
Within walking distance are three local artisan studios and galleries. Be sure to visit the many artisan galleries in the yellowpoint area. There is also plenty to do and see within easy driving distance. The area features golf courses, parks, hiking and biking trails, bass and trout fishing at Quesnel Lake, kayak rentals from Ladysmith, and even bungee jumping at the famous “bungy-zone” 20 minutes away. Yellow Point rd is a popular bicycling loop for avid cyclists, especially in summer.
The town of Cedar 7km up the road has a full service grocery and cold beer and wine for those wanting to cook in, and the Mahle House restaurant with its award winning wine list serves gourmet meals for an evening out. Or stop by the farmer's market, every Sunday (from May to October) just down the road.
For casual dining or a morning cappuccino visit Cedar’s CoCo Café coffee house and bistro. The famous Crow and Gate English Pub is also close by serving hearty, tasty country meals and amazing local beer. The wineries of the Cowichan valley and the sandy beaches of Parksville are easy day trips.
There is one long term tenant in the suite above the garage.

The beach is accessible from our front yard but the hand hewn steps are rough and awkward. We do not recommend this trail. Much easier access is via the public access trail a 70 meter walk away.

I always try to meet our guests, walk them through the house, and answer any questions they might have. After that initial walk through, I will leave them in peace. I am easily accessible by telephone to answer any inquiries and am a 5 minute drive away should any "in person" assistance be needed.
This is a non-smoking, drug free home, no pets or late night revelers please.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 9am and must be adhered to during your stay at our property.
Three people maximum in the house, there is a good quality hide-a-bed couch in the living room.
Please be respectful of our lovely neighbourhood village.
My husband and I are privileged to live in this beautiful part of the world. We enjoy gardening, sailing, reading, biking, and spending time with family. Good friends, an evening out dining and sharing fine wines make life just that much more pleasant. We enjoy traveling. My daughter and I have bicycled throughout Germany and Switzerland. We've spent time in Mexico and Korea. We've traveled throughout Australia, Fiji, the Cook Islands and New Zealand.
We've tried to live our lives always remembering to count our blessings and to seize the day.
Our Beach house is a dream come true for us and we welcome the opportunity to share our little piece of Heaven with others.
