*** Chosen by Boston Magazine as one of five New England barns to rent! ***
Beautiful barn loft close to Burlington, the Green Mountains and Lake Champlain. Cathedral ceilings, plenty of natural light, rustic charm and lovely views. The space has its own entrance and is completely separate and private from the main house.
Our barn is separate and very private from the main house and features a living space with table, couch and sitting area, a private bathroom and a bedroom with a queen size bed. We have an inflatable single bed available as well. The space is open and spacious with 3/4 wall separating the bedroom from the rest of the living space. There is no kitchen. There is a Keurig machine for coffee and an electric hot water kettle for tea. Tea, coffee and fixings are provided along with basic tableware for drinks and causal eating in the space. There is also an Apple TV, small fridge, microwave and wifi.

We have lived in our home for twenty years. We are happy to share information about local restaurants and attractions.
We work and have two children living at home. We may not always be home to greet or say goodbye to guests, but we both are very quick to respond to emails and texts and leave clear instructions on how to access the space if we are not going to be home.
Other residents of our home are two cats, a friendly dog and chickens who all live harmoniously and often roam freely in the yard.
This is our home, so we ask guests to respect our family lifestyle.
We ask our guests to follow some basic rules to help keep our space enjoyable for all:
Please no smoking in the barn or on the grounds.
Please do not eat on the couch.
Please do not invite groups of people that are not part of the initial reservation i.e. no parties.
Please do not flush feminine products or other foreign objects down the toilet.
Please supervise children when outside particularly near the pond.
Out of respect for our guests' potential allergies, we do not allow animals in the barn.
My wife Jenny and I have lived in our Hinesburg home for eighteen years. Five years ago, we built a new barn that features an open and warm living space upstairs filled with natural light. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
