The stay at Jorge was a pleasure. Very warm, it is good advice and does not hesitate to share his good addresses. Her house is very well located in Salta, 10 minutes from the central square of the city. Our room had a comfortable bed, modern bathroom and a private terrace. I recommend the home of Jorge to future travelers passing Salta.
We had a very nice stay at Jorge. He was easy to reach and available to do a late check in. We did not stay in his house as it was full but he guided us to another apartment a block away. The apartment is very nice with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The area is very nice and ideal to discover Salta. It was very safe and had a little courtyard. The only negative thing was that there was no wifi but a part from this it was very nice I would recommend staying there
Nice B&B at walking distance to the city centre and bus terminal. Our room was big and nice. The bathroom was a bit outdated but fine. Our room had a big balcony with a nice view on the mountains and an old monastery. The bells of the monastry provide a wake up service, after which Jorge provides a nice breakfast. Jorge is a nice, English speaking host that takes really good care of his guests.
We loved the owner of the place, he is welcoming, discreet, efficient, and will do his best to accomodate you. As he had no guest for the following day, he allowed us to stay till early afternoon, which was a must for our family. The area is now under construction, which makes it tricky to get to him, but when I called him, he came on foot to fetch me, got into our car, and guided us to his place ( the one way streets !!!). Breakfast is perfectly adequate, the room is large and comfortable. The convent bells may wake you up early in the morning, I suppose it is the price to pay for being in a town with so many churches! There is a superb restaurant just behind the block called Ma Cuisine, a fusion of Argentine and French cuisine, absolutely recommended. The corner café Salta is good for lunch too. A great location. A simple place. A very nice owner.
