We had a great time staying at Peter's place. We've been to the area a bunch of times before so we knew what the expect, where to go, what to do. So really we were just looking for a comfortable place to set up home base for our trip. Peter's place provided just that. It was relaxing, quiet, comfortable, well kept, and close to the only swimming beach in the area. It's in a nice well lite community with a lot of full time residents, so it was safe.
Unfortunately we were not able to meet Peter due to some unforeseen circumstances. Fortunately however, the staff and neighbors were very helpful and accomodating at our arrival and throughout our stay if anything did pop up. That's what makes this area of the Baja so great. Everyone is super nice and all there for the same reason - No Worries.
The essentials are all there. Hot water, drinking water, stable electricity, comfortable beds, sheets, towels, beach gear. We didn't use the inside or outside kitchen, but again, it was all well kept.
Two items I would like to mention, which in my opinion are small, but :
1 - This is not an AirBnB listing that is trying to be a hotel. It's AirBnB in its simplest form. The space feels like the family left yesterday. Their photos are on the wall. Their clothes are in the closet. It's not overwhelming or anything like that, and it didn't make much difference to us. It actually added character to make it feel like a home and that i think was a positive for us. Just mentioning it so people know what to expect. Everything else in the listing description was as expected.
2 - Even more minor than #1, but the hot tub takes more than 1 hour to heat up. Not a negative, just a heads up if your trying to time your hot tub use at a certain point in the stay. Never the less, the hot tub got hot and was clean.
