Communication with Danny was effective and quick. Danny always replies within an hour. The apartment was just like in the pictures online. We have never met during my stay. The internet connection is great. I would definitely consider coming back and I would recommend this place to a friend

Excellent location in walking distance to Church Street, Yonge Street, the 4 Seasons hotel and shopping, Danny's place is the ideal getaway for two people looking to explore downtown Toronto. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of clean towels, and the shower had excellent water pressure, as you would except, (but sometimes don't get.) The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need, the wi-fi worked great, and the easy access from Stollard street made Lyft and Uber pick-ups super easy. I would definitely stay at Danny's place again the next time I'm in Toronto.

This is a great apartment. All modern amenities. Close to downtown. Danny is an excellent host and replied promptly to all of my queries. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in Toronto.

The location is great, being close to Yorkville, but beware the misleading advertisement. This condo is a well-worn, not well-maintained unit below average in cleanliness and comfort. The ad says it is a "luxurious home." There is one small closet in the entire unit, in the bedroom, and it is more than half-full with vacuum cleaners, a carpet sweeper and linens--with little space to hang items and no place for luggage. There is no dresser at all to place your clothes. The uncomfortable bed sits on the floor with a hard mattress on a boxspring; if you sleep on your side, you are likely to feel severe pain. Back sleepers also may feel pain in the lower back in the morning. Most of the furniture throughout the unit looks like scratch and dent Ikea. There are nails protruding from the walls, and scratches and stains throughout the unit. The bedroom carpet remains dirty even after vacuuming. The living area floors are dusty at best. The living room curtains have several stains. The bathroom tub/shower combo has a living room curtain installed which you can't slide left or right, which is awkward for entering and exiting the shower. While the kitchen has a nice new refrigerator, decent stove and granite countertops, the drawers are dirty and disheveled, and there is one tiny wastebasket like you'd find in an office to hold your trash. The ad says it is a "large" home. In fact, it is a small walk-up condo. I would estimate maybe 500-600 square feet. It felt claustrophobic, not spacious. The ad says Danny's friend Kevin will be there to meet you. He wasn't there to meet us. The property manager said he was busy tending to one of the property management firm's other 175 units in the Toronto area. Read the other reviews carefully, including Travis in Oct. 2016 who said "The bed was not great. It was rough sleeping." I texted the property manager to ask him about the comfort of the bed, and he dismissed the idea that the bed was uncomfortable and said only one guest had complained. The property manager made it sound like there was a problem with the guest. Unfortunately, I fell for this story. The bed IS NOT GREAT. It is poor quality and caused us pain. Finally, when you communicate with Danny on airBnb, you will think you are talking to Danny (the owner, a nice guy) but you probably will be communicating with the property manager even though he won't necessarily disclose his identity.

Please see the review about this guest with Airbnb. This guest was kicked out by Airbnb for violating the terms and conditions. All of what is above is not true, this was stated because the guest booked two units and after arriving wanted to cancel and Airbnb would not give a refund. Be careful of this guest, he books multiple units with multiple accounts and then on arrival tries to cancel the unit's he doesn't like the best by making up housekeeping issues. I was paid in full, but this guest was a scam.

I stayed at this apartment for 36 days and it was nice, because it's located in a such amazing area, near groceries stores, bakeries, pubs and restaurants. It was very pleasant to live in this livable and trendy part of Toronto. Danny was a great landlord. Very friendly and helpful when needed. The only downside was the cleaning of the carpet and rugs. It could be better, but it didn't affect the overall experience. I recommend it!
