Enjoy a quiet stay in 2 rooms filled with art within walking distance of everything Easton has to offer. A very quiet residential neighborhood. A separate entrance and bathroom gives you the privacy you are looking for while on vacation. The main bedroom and an additional small room for breakfast. Food provided for breakfast. Recently remodeled room and bathroom with stained glass entry, antique furniture and photographs from around the world. Separate bathroom, small refrigerator, wifi, cable TV, Roku with Netflix, Sling TV and a lot more, queen size bed, a small additional room for your coffee and breakfast.

Separate side entry to the bedroom and bathroom. I share the small hallway to access my upstairs bedroom, but the downstairs bathroom is just yours for your stay.

I will be available to answer questions about the town, art galleries or restaurants. As a real estate agent I can also give you information about the housing market here and even arrange showings if you are in the market to move to the area.

The neighborhood is family oriented with limited traffic. We are 6 blocks from the center of town so for busy weekends like waterfowl festival it is easier to walk than to have to deal with parking in town.
2 bicycles are available for getting around town as well as riding out into the country.

Easy to see Easton on foot from your room here. Little public transportation so a car or bike is needed to go much further. This is a great area to bike. Lots of country roads with little traffic. Let me give you a county map and make suggestions on where to ride.

There is a lot going on in Easton. The Avalon theater is a great venue for music. I volunteer there many times throughout the year. Check them out at:
and see if there is something you want to see while here.
Lots of galleries. Plein Aire painting is very popular around here and the Plein Aire festival in July is one of the biggest in the US.
The Academy of Art often has very interesting exhibits.
Rise Up Coffee is the best coffee house in town and is right behind my house on Dover Rd.

David was a kind host and very helpful with anything we needed. The house is in a great location and in walking distance of pretty much anything you needed. The bathroom was a little chilly at times, but other than that everything was great!

David was very accommodating and provided a list of local restaurants. Wifi, Cable, private access on the side of the house. Mini fridge and small eating area.

There is always a parking spot in front of the house. Can't see how the house could be any quieter. If watching tv I use ear buds. I always thoroughly clean the room and bathroom the day a guest arrives. As far as price the only thing cheaper in motels is $84 at the Econolodge on Rt 50 a nonrefundable rate. It is just more expensive here than your small town in Ohio. So be it.

A cozy little hideaway that is easily walkable to the charming town of Easton. David provided more than enough food/drink for a nice breakfast, and the amazing coffee shop in back of the house topped it off. Room was clean and private, and the artwork/photographs were a nice touch. The water pressure was beyond amazing; wish we could take it home with us. David was even nice enough to mail us an item that we forgot. We would happily stay here again.

Unfortunately the accommodations fell far short of our overall expectations for an Airbnb. Though the locale is ideal for exploring the eastern shore the apartment itself leaves a lot to be desired. Immediately upon entering the apartment our senses were overwhelmed with a very strong musty odor that you would expect in a very old home. And that is what this is - a very old home that is not well maintained. We immediately noticed that the bed linen was dingy, and looked like it should have been discarded long ago. We did find a suitable replacement set in the closet but even this present a new set of problems since the closet was filled with cobwebs. Our bathroom was also very old and should have been cleaned a long time ago. If we wanted hot water we had to turn on the basement furnace from a wall switch 10 minutes before we wanted to use it. We also lost our wifi- it stopped working - and the replacement wifi that the owner arranged for did not work either. And then there were the ants. First we noticed a couple on the table and upon further investigation we found that the owner had a used jar of honey on a shelf in the room along with a sugar bowl that was teeming with ants. The sugar bowl had not been cleaned a a very long time. This was the straw that broke the camel's back and we elected to cut our stay short and vacate the premises. We would have been far better off staying at a national chain hotel than this facility. This experience highlighted a glaring fault in the Airbnb system. Anyone can advertise anything as accommodations and there is no check or balance to ensure quality or cleanliness other than someone's review which, unfortunately, is after the fact!

Older couples tend to be a problem. The old musty sheets were new and washed. It is an older home but very livable unless you expect everything to be brand new. The bathroom was cleaned thoroughly the day the clients came but again some older couples expect all new appliances and if they aren't then the place is a mess. One thing that is a bother for me with these older couples is the only way they communicate is by complaining after the fact with bad reviews. If they had the courage to say something the minor problems they later complain about would be taken care of. Kay doesn't mention that yes the wifi went down. I replaced the router and the problem persisted so i called the internet provider to come out which did happen and things were up by the afternoon. I told her the coffee shop next to me had wifi which she didn't mention in the review. In cleaning the room the day they came I didn't notice a single ant. The ants might have found the sugar while the client was still there but that could have been easily taken care of if they had told me about it instead of waiting to complain in the review. I expect adults to be able to communicate to solve problems instead of waiting till it is too late and using a review to air their grievances. I had talked with the husband the second day of their stay and nothing was said so how can I know that they had found ants or any of their complaints. Kay even said when they left that their stay went well. So how to deal with this kind of behavior.

This was a good place to stay in Easton. Comfortable and cozy. Very easy to get to, and the private access was nice. Having Rise Up coffee really close was an added bonus.

David was a gracious host. The room was comfortable and private with an excellent coffee shop in walking distance. I'd recommend staying with David to anyone visiting Easton.
