Pros: proximity to ski area (less than a mile), host accommodates requests, fast internet, excellent cable tv service. Cons: torn wallpaper throughout the house, multiple big cracks in walls, cold and drafty, mold in downstairs bathroom tiles, non-functional upstairs shower, bro…

It’s unfortunate that I have to use my time to rebuff a review that is untruthful. However, I will comment on these outrageous statements. One must understand that this is a rental property, used by many guests. Some guests will treat the home as if it’s their own, others will not. This guest got disgruntle because they had to purchase linens and towels which they were instruction through the website were not included. Hence, the reason for this discrediting message left by them. To say there are torn wallpaper throughout the house is false. The upstairs bathroom, which is the only area in the house with wallpaper and not throughout the home as the incorrectly states. Some ends of the wall paper is in fact separate from the wall due to steam from hot shower which will be rectified when the bathroom is fully repainted. ▪️multiple big cracks in walls - Again another dishonest statement. There is a settlement crack in the wall on the upstair bedroom which is not noticeable and has no bearing on the esthetics of the home. ▪️ mold in downstairs bathroom tiles - The cleaner was contacted by me, and have confirmed that this is not true. I also have never had another guest made such a claim. ▪️non-functional upstairs shower: Again the cleaner confirmed this is not true nor did the previous guest who checked out days before complained about this. ▪️broken window treatments - The rod is missing from a small window in the living room but your are still able to operate the blind. A minor item that the guest is using to try to discredit my listing. ▪️heavy water damage on ceilings - the downstairs bedroom has a water stain in the ceiling due a leak leak from the upstair balcony which have since been repaired. The ceiling has been repainted and leave a dark patch which no one would notice much less complain about. ▪️multiple broken and missing bulbs - A gross lie; why would the cleaner leave a broken bulb for someone to get hurt. The bulbs in the bathroom vanity was not honestly, if you wanted your $350 back, I’d rather you come straight out and asks for it! ▪️Broken bulbs? Missing bulbs? Honestly? not very clean, no towels, no bed sheets or any linens (listed as available under amenities, host writes that these are not available in description) - if this was misleading, I apologize. Since this is not an hotel, guests must bring their own linens/towels. Amenities listing has been updated. ▪️no dish washing detergent for the dishwasher - only sample provided missing basics and essentials, messy and puberty poorly kept, outdated and dirty appliances.” Yesterday, 8:06 AM Airbnb review It’s unfortunate that I have to use my time to rebuff a review that is untruthful. Unsupervised Kids and sometimes malicious adults cause damages to the property - this is a risk that homeowners take. I do not live in the area, therefore; I’ve contacted a cleaning manger to clean and prep the unit before each guest arrives. The cleaner also has a responsibility to send me photos of any damages to the property. This is my second home and the upkeep and comfort of my guests are very important to me. To say there are torn wallpaper throughout the house is false. The upstairs bathroom, which is the only area in the house with wallpaper shows some signs of wearing, I agree. Reference to multiple big cracks in walls - I have invested thousands of dollars in my home (over $20,000 in central heating). Why would I invest that kind of money and have my heat going out multiple big cracks in the walls?! Your claim of non-functional upstairs shower: the jetted shower in the upstairs bathroom was installed two years ago. Please explain how it’s non-functional? My previous guests used the shower without any problems. You also mentioned broken window treatments - again, this a rental property used my several guests. My cleaner has a responsibility of reporting any damages. I was not aware of any broken blinds. If you are referring to the plastic cap at the end of the strings, then yes, you’re correct. heavy water damage on ceilings - the downstairs bedroom has a water stain in the ceiling from a previous leak, which was repaired by a contractor and still shows signs of the stain through the paint. Now this statement is as outrageous as it gets “multiple broken and missing bulbs” honestly, if you wanted your $350 back, I’d rather you come straight out and ask! I am a very responsible homeowner and would not risk the safety of my guests by having broken light bulbs in my unit. These claims are unfounded and false! In regards to “no towels, no bed sheets or any linens (listed as available under amenities, host writes that these are not available in description)” - if this was misleading, I do apologize. Since this is not an hotel, guests must bring their own linens/towels. The Amenities listing on the website has been updated. sample washing detergent for the dishwasher provided. It is not my responsibility to provide toiletries for an entire stay.

Rohan's place is located in a great spot. Clean house, and quiet neighborhood. Would recommend.
