•Express check-in
For check in between 4pm and 9pm, your keys will be at our front desk located at 346 23rd Avenue SW in the Mercato Building (access is on 23rd Avenue, and you will enter on the door marked O hotel suites, go up the stairs, and find out front desk at the top of the staircase).
• If you do not have a vehicle, our staff can arrange to meet you at a specific time at your suite.
• If you will be arriving after 9pm, please contact our office to arrange self check in using our lock box at the building that your suite is located in.
• The credit card used to create the reservation and matching photo ID is required in order to receive your keys (failure to provide documentation upon arrival may result in refund or cancellation).
• Early check-in is subject to availability and a $50 fee applies.

Parking:
- Parking is $25/day and must be reserved 48 hours in advance. Subject to availability.

We are world travelers. This was one of the most comical, challenging check-in experiences ever. Having arrived late at night (I'd advised as such in advance), we had to search around in the dark, behind the building, for the correct lock box, in order to obtain the key and room #. I'm glad there were two of us - one to hold the flashlight, the other to key in the combination. We then returned to our vehicle & had to search for entry to the garage to park. Absolutely no information had been fowarded wrt how to access the garage for parking, except for the stall #. (Another note re parking: The additional charge of $25 per night for parking is a cash grab; a parking spot obviously comes with this apartment & costs the owners nothing in addition to allow guests its use). Imagine how delighted we were to next discover that we'd been given the wrong room #. After dragging our stuff up the elevator to the room listed on the paper in the lock-box, the key didn't work. Called the office (this is now after midnight); someone called back after a couple of minutes to tell us that, indeed, the room # on our paper was incorrect. She gives us another room #, & we dragged ourselves back into the elevator to another floor. Fortunately, the key worked this time. Upon entry, we were overwhelmed by the sickly sweet smell of some kind of air 'freshener'. Cotton candy pineapple? The layout itself is fine, but it was evident that carpets hadn't been vacuumed. There's a dresser that's about to fall apart (we pulled open one drawer & it took :10 minutes to coach it back in). Stains on curtain in bedroom - ugh. Staff came in the next day to vacuum in response to the photos of carpet dirt that I'd forwarded, so there was an effort to correct that. We were also told that $50 would be deducted from our payment in respect of our troubling experiences. We then requested a second key as there were two of us on different schedules, and - in what appeared to be another awkward attempt at service - we received an email advising that a second key had been left in the same lock-box; a new combination to this lock-box was included in the email. Guess what? It was the wrong combination! Later, someone pushed a second key under our door. This apartment is well located for Calgary & is reasonably priced for what it is. If you think you're getting a high-end property from the photos, be aware that this place is furnished with the cheapest, Walmart-type furniture. Bed is fine, however, we slept comfortably. Whomever is managing this property needs to get their act together.

We were disappointed there were many factors that affected your experience and can assure you it is not typical of our team to disappoint. We understand the lockbox location is a struggle as the condo does not provide sufficient lighting and have since changed its location. We apologize for the numerical error on the paper left in the lockbox, however, an email was sent with the correct information on the suite prior to your arrival. We understand your frustration regarding this. Parking is charged to tenants as well as owners of most condos in Calgary so we do need to charge our guests for parking. We were happy to provide a credit for this due to the troubles and we have since repaired the drawers in this unit. Thank you again for your patience and understanding Rena, we hope to welcome you back for the true O hotel suites experience many of our guests have. My stay at this suite was quite pleasant. We arrived outside of office hours and they had set up a lock box with our key in it and clear instructions. The condo itself was very clean and very spacious. I would definitely book with O again!
