Stylish apartment tucked away from the East End excitement in this gated Art Deco building set around a private garden. Two minute walk to shops, cafes, yoga studios, buses & train station at Hackney Central; 15 min walk to Dalston & Broadway Market.
My place has wooden floors, high ceilings and details from the original conversion. The full-length windows bring in lots of light and give a breezy feel to the apartment if you open the glass door while having coffee in the morning, or at dinner time during the summer months.
There is space for an airbed in the living room or a third guest could sleep on the sofa. The dining table seats 4 people. The bathroom has a full-sized bath and the entrance hall is equipped with space for coats etc.
This 1920s Art Deco building is one-of-a-kind in the East End. It is gated, so is very safe, plus it is quiet and away from the road. The building was recently redecorated and has a perfectly cultivated courtyard garden in the centre - a rare thing in London! It has gated parking inside the building in a large shared garage which is also perfect for locking bikes.

While staying here you can use my apartment as your own - all the usual things in the kitchen and bathroom, plus the gated parking and the enclosed garden space for a glass in the sun.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
I'm happy to help with any questions or directions by text or phone and can show you the apartment in person if you like - or not, whatever you prefer. I can recommend places to eat, check out, go shopping etc in Hackney or London in general.
Please leave the place roughly as you found it. Please also bear in mind the neighbours and keep noise down late at night during the week. Please lock the full-length windows when leaving the apartment. Thank you!
I work as an arts writer for magazines, an editor with a futures think tank, and am currently setting up a project spanning interior design and social enterprise.
I've lived in Hackney for a decade and love this lively part of East London - although I also enjoyed getting away for a year in Beirut.
Keen on experiencing new cultures and escaping into nature !!
