This charming 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom third floor apt sleeps up to 4 people and is located in the heart of College Hill's Wayland Square, one of most desirable, safest, and walkable districts on College Hill in Providence. The apt is Wayland Square, 8 blocks (10-15 minutes) walking distance to Brown University, (20-25 min) walking distance to RISD, and is close to Blackstone Blvd, Fox Point, India Point Park, Wickenden St, Thayer Street, Hope St Village, Federal Hill, Downtown, WaterFire, the Convention Center and many shops restaurants, parks, and attractions. This third-floor apartment has its own private entrance and features 1 bedroom with an incredibly comfy full-queen sized bed, fresh clean new bedding, small dressers, night stands, and closets. The sunlit living room features skylights, gorgeous views, modern carpets, sofa, arm chairs, bookshelf, and a coffee table. One comfortable air mattress is also available in the living room which is great for kids or the extra guest. There is a sunny kitchenette (not a full kitchen ) inside the apt with skylight windows, a table and chair set, microwave, a midsized refrigerator, and a buffet table with a coffeemaker, toaster, countertop double hot plate burner, hot pot, kitchenware, dish-ware, and utensils to accommodate your stay. The sunlit bathroom has a a nice skylight, a stand alone shower, and sink, white shower curtain and plush white bath towels. If you need access to a full-size kitchen with a conventional stove, regular sized fridge, and washer and dryer, you are allowed access to the kitchen and laundry area in the lower level finished basement of the house which located in a common area not typically used by anyone other than guests of the 3rd floor. It’s essentially a private kitchen for your use only. The only other reason the space may be used by the other tenant in the house, would be for laundry. They do not use the basement kitchen as they have their own kitchen in their unit.

Off-street parking is available in the parking lot in back of the house as the city of Providence does not allow overnight street parking without a residential parking permit. Pets and smoking are not allowed. There is easy access to I-95 and 1-195 within about a mile from the apt and it's just an 8 minute drive to the Amtrack station, and a 15 minute drive to TF Green Airport.

This Victorian home has some truly beautiful original features from the late 1890s period in which it was built, while it also provides modern conveniences from recent updates. With central air the place is wonderfully warm in the winters and cool and comfortable in the summer.

Où se situe le logement

Providence, Rhode Island, États-Unis

Wayland Square is super safe and on the edge of College Hill. It's one of the best, most walkable neighborhoods in Providence for shops, restaurants, spas, lifestyle, and residential living. There is easy access to the colleges and downtown but it's not in the "party zone" areas of College Hill (which around graduation and the summertime can be quite loud at night).
