Le logement

The Penthouse really is a special place to stay. It has been designed with the utmost attention to detail and finished to a high standard. It comprises of four bedrooms and a large open plan living area, with modern state of the art kitchen. There is a huge terrace which wraps around the entire property with various different zones for eating, reading, sunbathing or snoozing. You can enjoy unspoiled views across the sea, or relax with a glass of wine under the stars.
The views to the sea and mountains beyond are equally spectacular, the various outside spaces and through the windows of the open plan living area and three of the bedrooms. Due to the design of the apartment, the clear Andaluz light changes as you move from space to space. Sun or shade can be found throughout the day.
The house is situated on the edge of the Cerro Gordo natural park with it's pine trees and secret coves. A walk through the park leads you to the rocky vantage point of the Mirador del Cerro Gordo from where you can enjoy more sweeping ocean views from daybreak to sunset.
The Penthouse has four bedrooms and two modern bathrooms (one ensuite). The ensuite has a large, deep bath with shower above, while the family bathroom has a spacious walk in 'rain' shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed (1.80 x 2.00) and opens to the terrace and views. There is another double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a fourth bedroom with sofa bed.
The apartment remains cool and airy during Summer, but is also fitted with air conditioning should you require it. There is also full central heating which can be used during the colder months, such as January/February/March when the evenings and nights can become that bit chillier.
This property also offers the following:
Television. Interior walk in 'rain' shower. Charcoal BBQ. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Microwave. Induction hob. Oven. Secure parking. Lift from car park to the front door. Interior and exterior towels provided.
Everything is included in the price except if you are checking in our out during evenings or nights. We employ a locally based management company to check you in, show you the ropes and make you comfortable and they charge us e35 for 8pm/midnight and e50 midnight/8am check-ins.
There is also access to a quiet and secluded communal pool and smaller childrens' pool with toilets and showers.
There are no end of activities that can be enjoyed in La Herradura. Scuba diving, horse riding, language classes, personal training, beauty treatments and even excursions to Granada and the Alhambra Palace.

You will have access to the entire flat. Please be careful with toddlers so that they do not play on top of the (empty) Jacuzzi.

Nous sommes très heureux de cette location. L'appartement est très grand et fonctionnel . Il était très propre . La climatisation , le barbecue , le jacuzzi , la piscine , le garage , rien ne manquait . Et c'est sans compter la sympathie de Sophie et Nick qui est très disponible si besoin . Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette adresse !!

Very comfortable apartment with nice pool area which the kids enjoyed. The area is quiet but quite a walk up the steep hill to get back from town, which without a pavement is a little challenging after dark. However not too troublesome. Overall a very modern and well furnished apt which made for a very comfortable stay. Host also very accommodating about being flexible on check in and check out times which was hugely helpful with young children and a late flight.

Great stay in this beautiful penthouse. Great check-in and check-out service which even included a welcome package in the fridge!! Everything is really top-notch, views are spectacular. We would highly recommend a stay in this penthouse. The private parking space in the garage was a major plus as well.

We loved staying here. The location was close to the village, a quick drive but not too far to walk either. The pool area was beautiful and great for kids, and the house beautiful and immaculately clean. Gorgeous views and loved eating on the patio.

The house was really lovely, With shade and sunshine all day long, very clean, well fitted, very spacious, lovely pool, a bit disappointed the jacuzzi didn't work. But overall really happy

The penthouse has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one ensuite), open living space and kitchen. The kitchen has all mod cons and washing machine facilities are next to the kitchen, privately hidden away. There is a secure underground parking space. 130m2 of terrace which boasts 3 different areas of living space, from eating to sunbathing.
Continental free-TV channels, and full wifi.

A communal pool with sun loungers, a baby pool and shower facilites are available for your use, and a lifeguard works during the daytime in peak months.

The views are simply stunning of the sea and bay. The beach is about 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive away. The village has restaurants, beach bars, ice-cream shops, bakeries, supermarkets, chemists and banks.

One can learn to scuba dive, wind-surf or sail amongst other sporting activities, especially as we have Marina Del Este right next door to us.

We will meet you and introduce you to the property and the area. We can also offer to supply you with a hamper of items for when you first arrive.

Málaga is only a 45 minute drive away and the city of Granada a 1 hour drive.
