À propos de ce logement
If you want to escape from Paris and are eager for "country" air like the Impressionist painters of the late 19th century you might like to stay at my place. I can give you a tour following the footsteps of Renoir, Manet, Sisley, Berthe Morisot, Manet and Pissaro who came to paint on the banks of the Seine. We will hike along the river 12 to 20 kilometers, have a picnic by the river or have lunch at the guinguette "La Maison Fournaise" where Renoir painted the famous "Luncheon of the Boating Party".
To get to Montesson take the RER A line, direction Saint-Germain-en-Laye, stop at Le Vesinet-Le Pecq. That takes 20mn from Charles de Gaulle-Etoile. Then take a bus to Montesson, another 15mn.

I am a French primary teacher and I taught for 5 years in New York in bilingual schools. I am now retired.
I like hiking, bicycling, cinema, museums, opera, literature.
I work as a volunteer with a French tour operator during my vacations to accompagny groups visiting foreign countries.
My neighborhood is very beautiful and I'd like people to discover it.
I am an American and originally came to Paris in the 70's where I saw as many movies as possible, visited the museums and generally roamed the streets trying to soak up the culture. Many years later after having a varied career I met Elisabeth in New York. I am a massage therapist with an interest in all things physical. I've studied shiatsu and the martial arts for many years but still maintain an interest in cinema as well as the other arts along with the social and political events of the world.
