Description

Our studio apartment is an apartment with high-quality furnishings. It is ideally suited for city visitors who would like to live near the lake and in the popular Seefeld district.

Our studio apartment (40 m²) is your tranquil and idyllic home away from home close to the lake. The apartment and the balcony face the quiet inner courtyard. The apartment features an airy living room/bedroom combination with a queen-sized bed (200x160 cm), two nightstands, sideboard, sofa chair, large wardrobe, and a multimedia station. The large, fully equipped eat-in kitchen with balcony allows you to enjoy a cozy dinner. The entryway with wardrobe offers you additional storage room thanks to its built-in closet. The bathroom completes this cozy
studio.

WLAN Internet access is also included in the apartment price. Also included are all incidental costs, weekly cleaning of your apartment, changing of the bed linen, and use of the laundry room.

For either long-term or short-term stays: Enjoy living in this idyllic and centrally located studio apartment.

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE INCLUDED:

- weekly cleaning of the apartment
- weekly removal of household waste (max. 1 large garbage bag per week)

- provision and use of hotel services
- final cleaning (to a reasonable extent). Additional garbage removal and more extensive cleaning services will be charged to the Guest at an additional surcharge.

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE NOT INCLUDED:
- Consumables such as toilet paper, detergent, light bulbs with replacement, etc.
- Cleaning of personal objects (closet contents, dishes, cooking utensils, laundry, etc.)
- Landline phone or LAN Internet connection. These can be acquired for a monthly surcharge starting at a booking duration of 6 months.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Unless otherwise agreed-upon the apartment‘s check-in and check-out rules are as follows:
Check-in: Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday form 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Check-out: Monday to Friday before 12:00 PM

CHECK-IN AND APARTMENT DELIVERY
The Guest must personally take possession of and deliver the apartment upon check-in and check-out. The apartment will be inspected beforehand. The Guest will be given an inventory list with the apartment’s furnishings, which will either be checked and signed on site by both parties or be signed by the Guest and returned at the latest after one work week. Thereafter, the apartment will automatically be considered as having been accepted by the Guest as being in good condition and/or in the condition noted on the inventory list.

DUTY TO TAKE CARE: KEYS
The Guest is fully liable for the loss of any apartment keys, hand-held transmitters, laundry room keys, etc. The Guest is liable for all replacement costs as well as a processing fee of CHF 100.00.

GENERAL RIGHT OF USE
The guest has the right to use the designated ancillary rooms (e.g. common laundry room or beverage cellar). The Guest must be considerate of the needs of other guests when using the common rooms. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.

APARTMENT DELIVERY AND CLEANING
The Guest must deliver the apartment in good and proper condition. The delivery date and any damage must be reported immediately (long-term stays: at the latest one week before check-out).
The costs for the final cleaning are included in the room rate. Should the condition of the apartment require a longer cleaning duration, the additional time will be correspondingly charged and deducted from the security deposit.

ADDITIONAL FURNITURE
The Guest is free to rent certain additional furniture and fittings (crib, hide-a-bed); depending on the item, an additional monthly rate will be charged for this.

USE
The Guest is obligated to treat the apartment entrusted to him/her, the common areas as well as the furniture and the equipment with the greatest possible care. The instructions for the equipment (e.g. washing machine) must be followed.

SMOKING
The property is non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on balconies/terraces. In the event of misuse of non-smoking areas or violation of the non-smoking rule, we will fine the Guest CHF 300.00. Costs for fire department services (due to cigarette smoke) as well as any painting work needed will be fully charged to the smoker who caused the damage.

PETS
Pets are not allowed unless specific written permission has been provided.

POST
Depending on the property, the Guest’s personal post will be delivered directly to the respective personal mailbox or will be made available for pick-up at the reception desk in a private mailbox.

INTERNET
The landlord assumes no liability for damage caused by Internet use (e.g. spam, viruses, connection outages, etc.). During office hours, please report any Internet issues. The landlord will do everything possible to maintain the Internet connection in proper working order and eliminate any problems. Internet connection problems (impairments, interruptions) are not excluded. We assumes no liability for interruptions (e.g. by external providers); the Guest is not entitled to a refund. The Guest is obligated to protect his/her own equipment from malware to prevent spam or viruses from being sent over the network. The landlord is entitled to exclude a Guest from the Network. The Guest should take note that the landlord is obligated to partially record Internet usage.

CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
No structural modifications may be implemented in the apartment. The landlord can undertake small repairs and light maintenance work during the booking duration.

RIGHT OF ACCESS
Cleaning service/housekeeping personnel are permitted to enter the apartment without the Guest being present. The landlord is entitled to show the furnished apartment to potential future renters. Showings will be announced in advance and will take place Mondays through Fridays during office hours.

GUEST LIABILITY
The Guest is liable for any vandalism to the apartment perpetrated by the Guest or by a third person during the booking duration. The Guest is fully liable for damage due to lack of care, smoking and improper use.

GUESTS ARE LIABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
•Damage caused by the Guest
•Damage caused to the Guest through the Guest’s use of the apartment (e.g. furniture, kitchen equipment, etc.)
•Disruptions due to an act of nature, strikes, etc.

ITEMS BROUGHT IN BY THE GUEST
The landlord is not liable for theft, damage or loss of any and all furniture and personal objects brought in by the Guest.

INSURANCE
The Guest and his/her personal items are not insured for risks of accommodation (e.g. accident, illness, theft, water and fire). Personal liability insurance is the Guest’s personal choice and is not obligatory.

USE AND SUBLETTING
The Guest is not permitted to sublet the apartment to third parties or to make the apartment available for use to third parties. Using the apartment for commercial activities is not permitted. In the event of a violation of the right to hospitality as well as of the above-mentioned obligations, the landlord is entitled to evict the Guest immediately with the aid of the police.

AUTHORITIES
For booking durations starting at 8 weeks the Guest is obligated, within 14 days of checking in, to register with the pertinent authorities (regional offices, post office, etc.) of the City of Zurich and to deregister upon checking out of the accommodation.

DATA PROTECTION
The landlord is permitted to collect, process and use personal data to the extent that this promotes seamless business operations. The data will only be saved and forwarded to third parties to the extent that this is required. The Guest agrees to this.

Building recently renovated, great location, very professional staff!

This is a large company that offers professional service. The staff at City Stay were responsive to all types of questions (how to use the washing machine, telephone, where to shop, etc). I especially valued the service of Paula who met me at the apartment. The Lindenstrasse apartment is older and the bathroom really needs to be refurbished. It is hard to shampoo your hair and hold the shower the head at the same time. The flooring in the kitchen needs to be replaced. Apparently, this will take place in Spring 2016. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. As stated by others it is important to remember this is more of a hotel than someone's apartment- therefore you need to buy everything you need (soap, sponge for dishes, oil for cooking, etc.). I will return to Zurich in a few months and will be happy to use the services of City Stay again.

Wir kamen relativ spät an. Schlüsselübergabe hat sehr gut geklappt. Vermieter war auch sehr bemüht die Schlüsselübergabe zu organisieren. Wohnung hat eine sehr gute Lage. In unmittelbarer Lage zum See und zur nächsten Strassenbahn-Station. Auch gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe - Migros.
