Wonderful flat with a really nice garden. Little Venice and Maida Vale are amazing ! Heidi is very lovely...I hope to go back and be hosted again

Really enjoyed my stay at Heidi's place! Love how bright and white the flat it, it has a really fresh feel. The photos shown are accurate and the place was clean and tidy. I asked for an early check-in which Heidi was more then happy to accommodate to, which I really appreciated. Picking up the keys was made super easy and the stay was seamless with no problems. After booking Heidi always responded to my messages super fast, although they did seem quite blunt and not very friendly they were always replied to near instantly. After checking out there was a discrepancy about a missing book which was quickly resolved but at the time very upsetting. This was a shame as I feel it left a downer on my stay. However all-in-all I would recommend Heidi's beautiful flat, thank you.

Heidi was lovely, accessible and very helpful! The flat is lovely, exactly as pictured, and the neighbourhood was very safe and close to everything. Would definitely recommend!

Heidi was a great host. She rushed to bring me extra keys when I locked myself out. She allowed us to check in after 7pm. Everything worked.e] The apartment is as described, the terrace and the garden are beautiful, and the neighborhood is great. The only advice would be to allow more wardrobe space for the quests.

Heidi's flat is exquisite and we adored our stay. It is spacious, light, and utterly elegant. Views of the street and the interior garden are fascinating. It's hard to fathom the previous reviewer's complaints since the kitchen is well-stocked with pots and pans, with garbage bags and laundry detergent. The sheets are made of linen and the towels are thick and cosy. We loved the restaurants across the way on Formosa St, especially the Lebanese. The location couldn't be more convenient. Heidi was a generous and responsive host.

We found this experience confusing and unsatisfactory. Perhaps our expectations where way off, as we have never used AirBnB before, so that could be the problem. We wanted a place to chill out in Little Venice, be able to cook and enjoy some quiet evenings. I lived very close to this flat for 3 years, I knew the area, I know London and we didn't plan on being very touristy, wanted to relax. Unfortunately, after paying for our stay it became apparent that our host didn't actually let this flat very often and she wasn’t comfortable doing so. She had a second flat where most of the reviews came from. After we paid, more house rules became apparent. She didn't want us drinking red wine, etc, because everything was so white and didn't really want our friends over that we were going to cook for because the furniture was so 'fragile.' For us, this was a huge waste of money. We felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. The fridge was packed full of wine that we had to remove to make space for our groceries. The kitchen was ill equipped to do any real cooking. There was no closet space, only one tiny drawer, for two people for a week, so we lived out of our suitcases. There were no garbage bags we could find so we used our shopping bags, no instructions for where to put the garbage. Had to buy laundry detergent. The bed was creaky, we could feel the springs. Sheets and towels were thin and crusty. To our surprise, the carpet and couch was actually full of stains and rather dirty, so the concerns didn't make any sense... I imagine if we had stayed in her other flat, it probably would have been as good as all the reviews without the stress. We ended up cooking very little, did not cook for our two friends and we stayed out more because the vibe in the flat was uncomfortable and we didn't like being there. We made the best of it, but the situation was really unfortunate, we couldn't wait to leave and stay somewhere else where we weren't the cause of stress to someone else. It's a great location but the vibe was poor. Perhaps this was an anomaly, perhaps our expectations were off, but this was really disappointing for us.

I thought Sonia would be a great guest but from the moment she arrived it was a nightmare. She immediately broke her promise (about something we had agreed to online), which absolutely started the whole episode off on the wrong foot and was doubly disastrous as I was about to get on a transatlantic flight so couldn't do anything. I was lucky to have a neighbour who rescued the situation, but who was treated extremely badly by Sonia and her partner. Sonia and I had had a long email exchange via Airbnb before she arrived with the house rules, so everything was very clear before check-in - not least that the flat has a lot of white furniture, which is evident from the pictures. As the flat is rather large, with three rooms upstairs, there was ample space for clothes and suitcases, so if Sonia lived out of her suitcase, it was her choice. She could have used the large cupboard or drawers or the two spare rooms. As Sonia has not used Airbnb before, she clearly didn't understand that this is someone's home, so there are possessions, and you have to respect that. Yes, there was wine in the fridge, which she took out and didn't put back. Also, if she wanted garbage bags (of which there are tons) or pots, pans and other cooking equipment, she either just had to look in the kitchen or write to ask, same with laundry detergent, and as for thin and crusty towels, just another misrepresentation of the facts. She asked if her two friends could stay over, which I didn't feel was right. The flat was already booked on a very low tariff, a third of the usual price. When I returned, I was so shocked at the state of the place (as was the cleaning lady) I took pictures to document the mess (something I have never done), not to mention the lack of hygiene with used tissues all over the flat, a kitchen floor covered with rubbish, a sink full of dirty dishes and old food. The worst was the state of the loo. Utterly disgusting. As for the B&B Italia sofa being dirty, this is simply an untrue statement, and the rugs do have a few, hardly noticeable, stains notably from people who spilled red wine, hence my request to abstain from drinking in the living room. They were terrible guests, just about the worst I have had.
