Early to mid morning you can come hang with the locals as they solve the worlds problems! ;) downstairs at "Pete's Place" (our bakery/ restaurant) , or just relax on the sun porch or deck or on the dock. Or, if you are on business this is a nice spot to get ready for an important meeting.
You will check in downstairs at "Pete's Place" and we will give you the key and show you to your room.

Access from the front (street) or the back (which is private parking). Just come to Pete's Place (down stairs) and we will show you to your rental.

We will be downstairs in "Pete's Place" (our bakery/restaurant) usually from 5am - 5pm 7 days a week. You may come down and see my husband and me anytime and we should be able to assist you.

There is an Antique Shop, a pub, and a BBQ place! All are great, and our place downstairs is great homemade foods and a bakery.
OH yeah! On the lake! Nice cool breeze! Not far to go to have fun in almost everything you could want in Maine. Quiet area, good for vacationing or having business meetings.

There is private parking for tenants and any overflow is across the road behind the municipal building. We will give shuttle rides (for our guests only) to the Appalachian Trail head for the "Hundred Mile Wilderness", North bound.
There isn’t any public transportation

The Appalachian Trail, Boarstone Mt, and Mt Kineo are close to hike and explore. Fishing is good here on Lake Hebron and in local lakes and streams.
An antique store is open on Fridays and Saturdays across the road.
Next door is a pub/ restaurant and just a little stroll further you'll find the BBQ.
Thursday night at the pub is open mic night and on Friday evenings there are 2 places to play or just listen to music. One is here at Pete's Place and the other at the community center. Everything is in walking distance!

We (my husband and I) have a bakery/ breakfast restaurant below our vacation rental. So you are welcome to come down and have breakfast with us.
We love serving others and listening to your stories and desires.
We were born and raised here in Maine but have lived in many states and overseas but no place is like home (Maine).
I have never been to California but would love to see the Redwood Forest.
My husbands favorite place to visit is Alaska and we have lived there but would love to just visit and play instead of work.
Staying here at Knights Vacation Rental is very relaxing. We overlook Lake Hebron and you'll have the use of our private dock, kayaks, & canoe. The Appalachian Trail, 2185.9 miles long and hosts the 100 Mile Wilderness, is next door to us. So you see, this is our favorite place to be. Many things to do here and a lot of nice people to meet.
Our motto? Well, it would be this - "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matt 6:34
