Newly renovated basement level studio apartment on an operating flower farm with hygge vibes.

Le logement

Irvington Spring Farm has been a family-owned flower farm for the past 25 years. You'll find something new in the gardens or high tunnels each month... different things blooming, new things we’re working on, the inevitable change of nature and the seasons. We’re doing what we enjoy most: beautifying our corner of the world through flowers and helping pollinators.

We have flowers in bloom from early March to late October, but we're busy with farm chores year-round. If you enjoy gardening, you can see the behind the scenes and possibly take new gardening ideas home, regardless of when you visit.

We encourage you to walk around the farm. Enjoy the sights. Smell and listen. Take pictures. Bring your rod and fish in the pond. Have a glass of wine at sunset. Let our gardens be a respite from your busyness.

If you'd like, you are welcome to buy flowers by the bunch or bucket from the farm's cooler by picking out what you would like, and leaving your money or check in the basket on the shelf near the door.

The Rock Garden Studio is a private guest apartment adjacent to the main farmhouse. Guests enter the basement level private entrance at their convenience anytime after check in with a lockbox code.

Here's what you can expect to find in the Studio:

- 2 Queen beds with clean, fresh linens
-Twin air mattress in the wardrobe with linens
-Wardrobes for hanging and storing clothes
-White leather sofa
-Additional seating
-36" TV w/ Roku
-Table & chairs (seating up to 4)
-Full-sized fridge, stove, dishes, etc. *please note, dishes must be washed by hand*
-Coffee maker w/ ground coffee & fixings
-Climate control through remote controlled heating and air wall unit
-Full bathroom including sink, toilet, and shower/tub combo
-Washer and dryer located in the bathroom
-Towels and linens provided.

The suite is adjacent to the main farmhouse Airbnb, and situated below the garage and another apartment that also houses Airbnb guests. For our guests with mobility issues, it's important to note the suite can only be accessed by climbing an exterior stairway or walking down stone steps.

There are no pets allowed in the guest suite. However, you may see our 3 cats and 1 dog that live in the main farmhouse.

If you plan to make use of the pond at the farm by fishing, swimming, or using the canoe and life jackets, we require guests to sign a waiver form. Just let us know when you make your reservation and our co-hosts will send that to you via email.

Friendship, fellowship, love...I create spaces for relationships to be nurtured. I live in Lynchburg with my husband, two kids, tiny dog, and huge cat. We live at a local boarding school where my husband teaches, and since we live on campus and don’t have our own home, I live vicariously by designing home-like spaces for others to enjoy. Find us on social media @abide.stays Cheers!
