We invite you to share our lovely home and are available on the premises to answer any questions you might have.
We highly encourage you to stay more than one night. There is so much to see and do on this spectacular coastline. Within four miles is Point Lobos State Park, one of the most beautiful intersections of land and sea, and closer still is Carmel Beach with lovely white sand and a glorious view of the Pacific. Whale watching tours are available year round in nearby Monterey Bay and the Big Sur coastline is not to be missed.
This house is a peaceful space, friendly, and low key. It is a great end of day retreat and perfect for a writer, photographer, hiker. This is a non-smoking environment and best suited to people who do not smoke. Monterey County is also experiencing a severe drought. We ask that you help us by taking shorter showers. We appreciate your cooperation on this. While we love animals, pets are not allowed due to allergies.

I have lived on the Monterey Peninsula for many years and have been able to enjoy what this wonderful and scenic area has to offer. I'm a peace activist, artist and have had a chance to travel a bit - - Russia, India, and Nicaragua.
Some things I love are; photo journalism, world music, Leonard Cohen, people who care about the planet, fabric and paper art, color and design, long walks and Mexican food.
