We booked our stay at Kowit's a few days before our trip. He communicated with us very well in English and was extremely accomodating. He advised on how we could get to his place and offered to fetch us and send us directly for 800baht(which was cheaper than the transport at the airport. When we arrived, Kowit welcomed us and all the other guests with a barbeque/steam boat dinner! (Please note that this is chargeable at 100baht each person but it's really worth the meal as they are no shops around) It was really nice with all sorts of cut-out meat, vegetables and noodle. It made it much livelier to dine and sit around with the other guests. Kowit had his friends and himself entertain us with the guitar and violin, playing lovely thai songs. Despite it being a shared facility, the shower and toilet were super clean! We were amazed by the design of the whole place, super cosy but very in touch with the nature. Kowit and his staffs are the friendliest and nicest people. They were very helpful and even introduced the 10 of us, local games and found things for us to do everyday. I would return to Ao Luek Paradise for another stay, should I return someday!

Truly a Thai immersion experience led by people that are want nothing more than to share their lives and their culture. A project in sustainable able, community oriented ecotourism showing that people are the central component to any experience

If you want to experience true local culture this place is for you. Kowit was a great host. Yoke and Dende were the perfect tour guides with the local knowledge. You won't find a better value for the private tours and local experiences anywhere. We stayed two nights and then came back for two more a few days later. You'll leave Paradise having experienced local Thai culture and with new friends/family.

This experience is for travelers with an open mind, open heart and positive mentality. I met people from different parts of the world and had a great time learning about each other, going on trips together, eating together and finishing the night with drinks and laughs. (It's a good idea to coordinate your day trips with some of the other travelers staying there). The food was great and the trips were memorable. Be fun and it will be fun. The host, Kowit, is one of the greatest people we had the pleasure of meeting; humble, kind, interesting and genuinely cares for the people around him and the environment he brings us into contact with. The bamboo huts were comfortable. I'm a mosquito magnet but the mosquito bed net and the fan helped keep them away. It wasn't too hot for us at night. Finding the place was easy because Kowit gave us clear instructions and offered to pick us up at a mini bus station. We spend 4 nights there that went by quickly. The hardest part was leaving. Definitely recommend!

Most visitors are often looking for a place with extensive advertising. You may be happy with that. But of course you should expect most places to be crowded, the feeling that you are not living abroad. If you choose to travel a different way, you’ll find attractions led by the community and learn the cultural life of the local people.
Local people will show you hidden places and how to experience real local culture. You will find a new form of tourism which also grants distribution of income to the community creating assets for the locals.

I am Thai and come from the province of Nakhon Sri Thamarat in Southern Thailand.
I love music and play guitar very well and love to play with other musicians.
There is nothing better than to get with a group of friends and have a few drinks and a great jam session. I enjoy exchanging experiences and learning about different cultures from all around the world. I want people to know more and discover Thai ways as we are people who like to take care of our hosts and share good times together.
Coming to Thailand? Don't just go around it, experience it!

Tired of crowded beaches, expensive tours and touristic towns? Come to Krabi's most well-kept secret and enjoy the real Thailand! Only 1 hour from Krabi's airport, Ao Luek village is one of the few places in Krabi District that remains untouched by the tourism fever. Secluded enough for you to enjoy Thailand's nature, Ao Luek Paradise is at the foothill of magnificient lime stone mountains and borders a small swimmable river.

More of a community feeling, our B&B offers a real experience of Thailand's culture: local immersion, outdoor adventures like kayaking, caving and boat trips, involvement with the local community, BBQ nights, family dinners and most of all, music jams almost every evenings! Guests are more than welcome to join as there is a variety of instruments for them to use, including a few guitars, although one is almost always in the hands of the owner (for your own delight!). Determinated to make your experience an authentic and memorable one, our lovely team will make you feel at home away from home!

Here you don't come as a guest and leave as a friend, you come as a friend and leave as family!
