Thanks for the advice on the arrival instructions. We will take note and hope we can make them clearer. The building has a name, but no visible number that we have seen. We have used (Hidden by Airbnb) maps to make sure the number we give out brings people to the door. But we accept that sometimes that doesn't work.
Greatest apologies for not realising that there was a baby in the group. Our cots are used in many of our apartments and the bedding is kept in our stores. We can only guarantee that the cots and high chairs are in place when we are told there is a baby coming. Apologies to Guilherme that we didn't discuss this with him before his stay.
We are also deeply sorry that the sheets may not have been freshly aired when they were taken from the linen stores and taken to the apartment with a baby chair and cot.
Had we known they were not smelling fresh, we would have been straight around to the apartment with fresh linen.
All our linen is professionally laundered, but it is possible with baby linen to have been stored for a few months since it was last used and washing, which must be the case here.
If you are considering renting any of our apartments with a baby then please do let us know in advance so we can equip it correctly for you.
Guilherme: If it is any consolation, we were also caught out this summer when we, like you, presumed there would be a cot in a property we booked online this year, as there were photos showing one, as there is in Apartment Beauregard. So your point is appreciated and we will amend our wording so to convey this.
