À propos de ce logement
The cosy and spacious double bedroom is very comfortable and has a lovely view over Jesmond Dene. It has been recently refurbished and is on the first floor of my Victorian house. Quiet location in a sought after, vibrant and eclectic neighbourhood.
The comfortable bedroom looks out over Jesmond Dene. It has a King Size bed and a desk.
There is well equipped kitchen with a range cooker and is decorated with many treasures from my times living in Kenya and Abu Dhabi. There is a shower room with a shower cubicle, sink and toilet. There is a separate toilet downstairs.
The living room has cable TV and is decorated with an Indian dowry chest and shelves and a cupboard made from traditional Indian doors. The gorgeous love bird duvet adds a soft golden glow to the room.
It is a short walk to West Jesmond Metro. The accommodation is ideal for work at the RVI or Freeman Hospitals, Newcastle or Northumbria Universities, all of which are nearby. Jesmond Dene House is also close by which is a popular venue for weddings.
A continental breakfast is provided and you are welcome to use the kitchen to cook for yourself or help yourself to tea and coffee at any time. Parking is available with a resident parking permit outside the house. If the permit is in use by another guest, there are scratch cards available for use during restricted periods which cost £1 per half day.
If you have any questions please ask.

I love hosting new friends and hope to see you soon.
I really enjoy getting out and about in Newcastle and the countryside and coast nearby. I would be happy to help with ideas of places to visit.
I have travelled extensively and have lived in London, Kenya and Abu Dhabi. I used to have a business selling rugs and kilims from Turkey. My mother is a ceramicist and my grandmother was an artist. There are many examples of their work throughout the house along with rugs and textiles that I used to sell. I make jewellery and have had projects for the house such as the large silk lampshades in the hallway and cushions and curtains.
