Live the life of a San Martian in our comfortable and cozy 3 BR/1B home located just blocks away from practically everything: grocery store, Texas State University, the San Marcos Square, the San Marcos River. Completely furnished with clean and comfortable furniture, in an unique setting. All bills paid, and we provide weekly professional housekeeping. Park in your own driveway (3 spaces) and walk or ride your bike almost everywhere. Awesome neighborhood, great for people going to campus.

Le logement
Our place is cozy, comfortable and unique. Harvey House is our private residence when we are in Texas, so we have decorated and stocked it for our own comfort, and our guests should find everything they need. This is a perfect place to stay for someone who is looking for a short-term housing solution in San Marcos, without having to move furniture or being stuck in a long-term lease.

Don't waste time or money on setting up utility deposits. Electric, water, trash and natural gas expenses are included in the monthly rent, as well as high speed internet and wifi.

Don't worry about bringing anything, we think we have you covered! You should find everything you might need for a month (with the exception of personal toiletries.) It's a fully stocked house (appliances, pots, pans, plates, linens, towels, etc.) We have everything we use on a daily basis, plus some other things that we thought guests would want. If there is something missing, let us know, and we will do our best to get it for you.

We help you keep it clean! We provide weekly professional housekeeping with a member of our team on a day and time of your choice. We also take COVID 19 very seriously, and the house will have been disinfected according to CDC guidelines when you arrive.

There are 2-3 off-street parking spaces for your vehicles in our driveway, depending upon how large they are. Parking is also available along the front of our house on the street.

We are seriously right in the thick of it, and very close to almost everything: groceries, university, the Square, the River, and downtown are all an easy walk. Bicycling is even better!

You will have an outdoor storage shed to store stuff like bikes or anything else you want to lock up.

House Description
Our home is small, eclectic, very unique, and quite comfortable. As avid Air B&B guests, we try to make sure our place has everything we expect and want when we travel.

The living room is comfortable with a couch that could sleep a single person (I fall asleep here all the time!). There is an Ikea Pyong chair that bounces, and a space for a television. There is currently NO ACTUAL TV in the house.

The Master bedroom is tranquil and quiet, with a King-sized memory foam bed that is less than a year old. Guests will have access to closet space and a chest of drawers.

The Guest bedroom is at the front of the house where you might pick up a bit more of the night-life noise. (It's not bad, you can just hear folks walking home from the neighborhood beer garden sometimes.) This bedroom contains a Queen bed with a memory foam mattress. (Also less than a year old.) Guests have access to closet space and some other storage solutions.

The back bedroom has a Double bed with a memory foam mattress (also less than a year old). This is the smallest, as well as quietest of the bedrooms. The closet and storage space for this room are located in the laundry in the next room over.

There is a full bath with plenty of hot water, good water pressure, towels, and toiletries. We supply a month's worth of toilet paper and all the cleaning products (and cleaning) are provided by our professional housekeeper and stored at the house. (You won't need to buy cleaning supplies while you stay here.)

The kitchen is small but complete with gas oven, gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, food processor, coffee maker, pots and pans, plates, silverware, cutlery, etc.

The laundry room that has both a washer and dryer, as well as a clothes line in the backyard if you like to go solar. :) There is closet space as well as an elfa rack intended for storage space for the guest in the back bedroom.

There is a deck off the back porch, as well as a sitting area by the grill if you want to cook out. There are storage units in the backyard that can be accessed and locked if you need to store something such as a bike that needs to be secured overnight.

Basically, we have done our best to provide a comfortable, worry-free stay, and we are always willing to listen to and accommodate any guest suggestions.

San Marcos, Texas, États-Unis

Harvey House is in the center of San Marcos. Everyone eventually passes by. If you're just hanging and chilling at the house, keep your eyes open. You never know when you might see: a Unicycle Footballer, pedaling down the street on a unicycle, while playing a guitar is NOT that unusual of a sighting. We are a small street full of friendly, fun and eclectic people. We are farmers, artists, gardeners, students, professors, musicians — we are San Martians!

Five Things to Know About Me as a Host and Traveler 1. I love to travel and experience different places like a local. I still like tourist attractions and those places that you have to see "at least once", but I am much more intrigued by local favorites and local past-times. I always try to seek out attractions and experiences unique to my destination. 2. Reside outside! I love being in nature, surrounded by mountains, trees, rivers, and meadows, and I am drawn to activities that take me there. Cycling, paddling, swimming, hiking, backpacking, camping, geocaching, zip lining, metal detecting, geology, gold panning, fishing, etc. 3. As much as I enjoy roughing it in the great outdoors, I also like a good splurge and make sure I include at least a couple on every adventure. I am drawn to expensive gastro-pubs and shopping sprees, but again, I like it to be unique to my destination. 4. I think traveling is one of the best educations. It exposes you to new thoughts, ideas, foods and cultures. I feel like every time you travel to a new place and experience a new culture, you can't help but be a little more open-minded and tolerant. And then you spread that around when you bring those ideas home. 5. The best part of traveling is the relationships and friendships that you build. It's great to see a beautiful landscape but it's the people you meet along the way that make the story interesting. As a host, it is my mission to make sure that is how you think of us by the time you leave: as a trusted friend who wants you to have a great time, in a clean, comfortable, and unique space.
