Our cabin is named for it's stunning view of Kachemak Bay. Grewingk Glacier will be the first thing you see when waking up in the morning. We are located just two miles east of town along the bike path, making the rest of Homer easily accessible.
The cabin was built by my Dad and I in 2005. It is 12x24 with a half loft and a full bathroom. The loft is accessed by steep ladder/stairs and has one double bed. Downstairs, there is the bathroom, kitchen, and living room with a futon that pulls out into a double bed. The kitchen is fully equiped and ready to cook in. There are tons of windows for letting in the light and staring out at the magical view. The fire pit right off the front porch is perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the long evenings.

We also have a couple of old bikes that you are welcome to use.

I won't be around as I live in Portland, but my parents live right next door. They will be available for any questions or assistance you might need but will respect your privacy.
I have two cats who live with my parents but for some reason love to sleep under the cabin. You don't have to let them in if you don't want to, but don't be surprised to see them sitting on the front porch every morning!
Please no smoking inside the cabin.
I was born and raised in Homer, Alaska and now live with my wife and daughter in the Kenton neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.
Most of my family still lives in Homer and I'm excited to share our beautiful cabin with all of my guests!
