Enjoy your time away with the comforts of home. We have a fantastic pool and jacuzzi area as well as a tennis court. There are rackets available to check out at the office. We are right next to the bike loop that goes around town and all the way up to the lakes basin. Our summers are gorgeous and there are tons of fun events w music, food & beverages

You can walk to many restaurants, a beer tasting room, the movies, bowling, shopping, or just relax and make a quiet meal at home in the full kitchen. Make yourself comfortable here while enjoying mountain living. My goal is for great guests to become friends and repeat guests so I do my best to make you feel at home away from home. Modern wood burning stove not only keeps you warm but also gives off with warm glow of flames. Wood bundles are available at the grocery store or pressed logs are for sale at the DIY hardware store along with starters. There are also ceramic, radiant wall heaters that are super easy and quite efficient. Just flip the switch on or off. Bedroom is super comfy. Shut out the world and sleep in late with black out shade and mattress heating pad. The heating pad alone can keep you warm on the coldest of nights. You won't want to get out of bed. The bathroom is modern loft style. I personally helped tile the floor with tumbled Italian marble and subway tile in the shower/bath and hand picked the Axor by Antonio Citterio fixtures. I really love that bathroom. Even the vanity/basin is Sofia with a Porcher faucet. The bedroom also has a 1/4 bath, a modern glass sink basin on a granite counter so everyone can brush their teeth and sort their toiletries without bumping elbows. The living area has a comfy couch that folds out to a full size bed. There is a 32" tv, Roku for streaming your Netflix or Amazon Prime movies, a Sony bluetooth speaker so you can use your devices to stream your favorite music, and I have private high speed internet so you don't have to share the signal with anyone outside of your party. This is key in town as many properties provide a free, shared signal that barely sends your email.

There are 2 jacuzzi spas which are actually pretty fun for meeting your 'neighbors' as well as relaxing, a dry sauna, a fenced in snow play area for families and kids, coin op laundry room and 2 parking spaces. Lots of trees and birds. There are sometimes bears who do not hibernate so do NOT leave anything that resembles food in your car, not even wrappers and NO trash outside. They are super strong and surprisingly fast and have been known to operate car door handles and trash dumpsters that are not carabinered shut.

I am available for any questions, suggestions or issues that may come up, I live in town but if you don't need to see me, you don't have to. If you'd like to though, please just let me know!

Sherwin Villas is a great complex that is across from the grocery store, beer tasting room, movie theater, fast food, restaurants, custom screen printing (actually pretty awesome) as well as a variety of other shops. A couple of blocks up the road is the Mammoth Rock N' Bowl with a golf simulator upstairs. There is a plethora of food and beverage choices and shopping all within walking distance. The always FREE Red line and Trolley (Village and Main Lodge) have a stop next to one driveway and the Green line (Little Eagle Lodge) has a stop next to the other driveway. Park the car and leave it there if you like! There is also cab service in town.

All the buses in Mammoth are free. The Trolley is run by the town and circles from Snowcreek through town to the Village with some laps including Canyon Lodge. They run until late night so if you time it right, you can trolley to AND from the bars. The Red Line picks up adjacent to the office and takes you all the way to the Main Lodge. The Green line is adjacent to the other driveway on Meridian Blvd and will take you to Little Eagle Lodge. Avoid the hassles of parking and take the bus! Also, if none of these suit you, call Mammoth Cabs 760.934.CABS. Ruben and his crew will take care of you

The town of Mammoth Lakes charges a tax of 14%. Therefore, a rate of $143 is really $125+ tax. This tax applies no matter where you stay, there is no avoiding it legally. I've included it in the nightly rental prices as well as the cleaning fee but not the refundable deposit as required by the Town laws. If you are looking to stay for an extended period or want to contact me regarding weekly rates, please feel free to drop me a line and we can discuss it. If you are a friend or a past guest-friend, also please let me know as I want my wonderful guests to come back and I would be a little flexible for people who appreciate my home as much as I appreciate them.

During the winter months, always be prepared for surprise weather including carrying tire chains and a windshield scraper. A pair of gloves or mittens in the car is a good idea too. Certain times of year, the deer are known to cross the highway at bad times so when indicated, please slow down a little so you have a chance of slowing or avoiding killing a deer or wrecking your car. If you are traveling from the west side of the Sierra's, please confirm that the route you are taking is open - Tioga Pass, Sonora Pass and Monitor Pass are closed due to snow all winter. Don't blindly believe your GPS - check with CalTrans (phone number hidden) but Luther Pass is open most of the time.

Hatchet+indoors=very very bad. Thanks in advance. Please also adhere to the check in and check out times of 4 pm and 11 am respectively. There is no smoking inside the house or within 20' of doors and windows. Pets are not allowed by the rules of the complex. Please do not try to sneak them in as I will get fined and then you will be charged.

I went to high school and college in LA and have discovered ski town living is for me. We: 1. ski ALOT, 2. spend quality time with quality friends, 3. party like it's 1999, 4. do tons of outdoor stuff (like bike, hike, cross country ski, soak in hot tubs in the middle of nowhere, etc) and in general laugh all the time. My career was in film, specifically the camera department, but I love the life I've found in the mountains. I do miss all my film peeps but I do still leave town to work film jobs from time to time. Not only is Mammoth a great place to be but it's a fantastic place to come home to.
