An incredible starry sky over you, a breath-taking view of the sea and the surrounding mountains, peace and tranquillity. These are the words to describe this property. A perfect place for beauty and contemplation.
This semi-detached house is a typical Sardinian country house built in the 1900's.
It consists of two separate buildings, both recently renovated to high standards. There is a bigger house of about 100 square meters and a separate little cottage with a nice bedroom and an ensuite bathroom.
The main house is very comfortable and well equipped. It has an open plan kitchen and living room, a large ensuite bedroom which comes with a fitted walk-in wardrobe, a second bathroom and a utility room.
As can be seen from the photos the buildings are furnished in a minimalist style with original designer pieces. The bright open plan living area is very well configured with a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table (seating 12) with comfortable chairs and an open fireplace with designer armchairs. There is also a wood stove for extra warmth, if needed, during the cooler springtime evenings.
During the hot summer months the house is very fresh because of the thick stone walls and the wood insulated roof.
The large bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed along with an extra single bed. It also has an ensuite bathroom with a fantastic shower. The main house comes with plenty of storage space in the walk-in fitted wardrobe and also in the large utility room where you have the washing machine, a big fridge, an electrical oven and shelves to store the groceries and the wine….
The little cottage has a double bedroom and an ensuite bathroom with shower. It comes with a little veranda with a hammock for lounging and reading during the afternoon siesta.
Between the two houses there is a pleasant garden with a bamboo gazebo for dining outside in the evening. It also provides shade during the hot summer days. There is also outdoor furniture to sunbed and relax outside.
The house is surrounded by wild Mediterranean bush and it has stunning 360° views of the sea with Corsica and the islands of the La Maddalena archipelago, the Liscia river valley and the mountains of Monti Canu. In a good day you could see as far as Monte Limbara, the highest mountain in Gallura toward south and Corsica Islands of Lavezzi to the North.

The House is not smoking. Smoking outside is possible but with extra care due to the risk of bush fires. For the same reason BBQs are forbidden and fire cannot be light indoor or outdoor between May and October.
In Sardinia water is very precious due to prolonged months without rein, so please use it sparingly.
I am a lecturer of History of Design and Architecture at the European Institute of Design in different Universities in Italy. I have also been collaborating for years with Italian and foreigner newspapers and other digital media.
Art, design and architecture are my favorite subjects. I love to teach them and communicate through them and I also love to learn even more about them by participating in exhibitions, events and by traveling alone.
I have a “liquid” life between Milan, Napoli and Sardinia: Cagliari and the Stazzo in Gallura.
My other passions are sailing (as soon as I can, I jump in our boat with my friend to sail around the Archipelago of La Maddalena) and reading without limits.
