This private space is beautifully furnished and offers south and west (great sunsets) views of tree covered Frog Pond Mtn. (2437'). We have many trails on our 11 acres. A 10 minute hike takes you to our Creek and another 15 minutes to the top (1733') of our mountain.
Stairway to 2nd floor casita. Free use of washer and dryer.
It's a private apartment but we are on site and enjoy interacting with our guests.
We are centrally located in San Luis Obispo County so you're only 5 to 45 minutes to all the major attractions our beautiful county has to offer.
There is public transportation but generally you'll need a car.
I've lived in the county since 1971 so I can tell you more than you probably care to hear about our county and history.
Accès des voyageurs
If we're not home the casita will be unlocked for you with the key inside.

We on site so just ring our doorbell if you have any questions.
Due to our mountainous location cell service can be "iffy". You can use our land line if needed. We have internet but sometimes we get 'dropped' for a bit.
There is a sofa for 1 extra guest.
My husband (Steve Click) and I built our cabin in Sequoia Crest in 2003, and our home and guest apartment in Atascadero, in 2008.
We love the Sierra's, especially the giant sequoia trees in the Alder Creek Grove. There are just 103 cabins in the Sequoia Crest and only about 18 full time residents. You'll find serenity and nature's awesome beauty along the many walking trails. You'll find the 3000 year old 'Stagg' tree (5th largest tree) along Alder Creek. Our cabin is our second home and is not your usual "rental cabin." For many years we have offered our cabin as an auction item for fund raising for different non-profit organizations. We have never had a problem with quests who have stayed at our cabin, so we decided to offer our special place in the sequoia's on Airbnb.
In 2006, we bought 11.6 acres in the hills between Morro Bay and Atascadero. In 2008 we built our retirement home. I've lived in San Luis Obispo County since 1971. I came to attend Cal Poly and fell in love with the natural beauty of the county and the small towns. San Luis Obispo is our largest city, with only 44,000 residents. Our private guest apartment is not far from the many attractions in the county. We love interacting with our guests and will fill you in on the best places to see and explore.
