Overall, Chloe's house and our experience was fantastic. My parents, brother and sister-in-law, and my wife and I were looking for a place to relax this summer. It was really difficult to find a house with three "adult-sized" beds (i.e. kings or queens). The location of the house was, in my opinion, great. The beach and boardwalk were easily accessible by walking, but the house was far enough away from the boardwalk to be peaceful and quiet. Belmont Park (West-Coast version of Coney Island), is also within walking distance as are several eateries and a liquor store.
The house was also adequately stocked with basic kitchen accessories, toiletries, and an abundance of beach towels, chairs, et cetera--which was great since we flew in from D.C. It was also nice not having to buy all the little annoying things like salt, olive oil, sugar, and so on at the store. I wish there were more glasses for wine and beer. I believe there were three of each; I assume some got broken over the years.
Chloe, the host, was awesome as well. She always got back to us promptly and provided any information we needed.
The only thing to be aware of is that the three bedrooms aren't necessarily separate and self-contained. One bedroom has a door to separate it entirely from the house. One bedroom has two doors, one of which is a bi-fold off the dining area (you can see it in the picture), and one bedroom is a loft. Also, the balcony off the one bedroom does not have an ocean view, as stated in description, but the view from the other two is great.
Host 5/5 (prompt, attentive, and responsive)
Location 5/5 (close to beach, easily walk everywhere)
House 4/5 (would be 5/5 if description was more accurate)
Cleanliness 4/5 (floor was pretty dirty)
Amenities 4/5 (had about a dozen shot glasses, but only 3 wine glasses and 3 pint glasses; however, there were other cups).
