Fantastic, open concept family home. The backyard is an oasis for children, and a great adult retreat as well. A 'bunk house' for kids, complete with lights and an electric plug for gadgets. Towels, toys, bikes, hikes fun for all.
The little house that keeps on going. Classic Salt Cod it opens to reveal one of the first open concept renovations in Toronto. Once inside the front door it opens through kitchen and living room to the back yard. Relaxed with a contemporary feel. Eat in kitchen seating 5, dining room seats 12. Kitchen complete and we leave 'spices and a sugar jar' just in case. The house opens to a private treed yard with in ground salt water pool. Three main bedrooms in the house and the cabana in the back yard has bunk beds for 4 adventurous ones to 'sleep in the woods in the city'! The pool is surrounded by a 6' security fence, with gates, and the yard is canopied by mature Oak trees. Private and serene.
Pool, with toys and towels, 3 (adult) bikes, scooter, toddler toys if requested. Washer, dryer, and baby grand piano. The piano is for playing.

The neighbourhood is quiet with mature trees. We are part of the 'Bluffs' edging on Lake Ontario with nature trails and minutes away from the popular 'BEACH', boardwalk, shops and restaurants, 25 minutes from downtown. Parks, gardens and plenty of space for relaxing after a busy day. The Zoo is 25 minutes one way and Canada's Wonderland 35 in the other direction.
Toronto Transit (TTC) is easy and connected at the top of the street. 30 min to most places with combinations of bus/streetcar/ subway make everything close.
The house has parking for 3 cars and street parking is not metered. The pool is automatic and does not require attention except for an automatic vacuum that plugs in at night.

We have found this area a wonderful oasis, the backyard is quiet with mature 50' oak trees giving the feels of a forest. There are parks to bike and explore and restaurants as well as very eclectic antique shops at the top of our street. A fun mix of new and old. And a pool to come home to at the end of a day for a bbq in the backyard.
We would like to request that there is no smoking in the house, and no candles inside. We are a pet free environment. But as a note we do have a cat, with us during your stay. Just a note if you have anyone with an allergy. You will find a good deal of friendly beings in the back yard from birds, raccoons and the odd possum. We will have a more detailed list of house rules upon request.
