This apartment has 2 lovely Double Bedrooms in a historical part of NW London called Hampstead Village. The Apartment is a very clean and cosy with neutral decor. Beautiful bathroom with excellent power shower, modern kitchen/lounge area and very quite area. It is ideal for artistic minded people or anyone seeking a peaceful or unique atmospheric village experience in London, with fresh air (Hampstead Heath) a neighbourhood visibly rich in history, a cosmopolitan high street, a warm sense of community and close immediacy (15 minutes) into central London by Tube. Fresh linen, towels, wireless internet and fresh flowers are be provided.
The apartment is set on a one of the quaintest walk-ways in London, it has a real European feel, surrounded by patisseries, traditional pubs, boutique high street shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, supermarket, an antiques market, a farmers market and late night French creperie. More importantly after a 10 minute walk you arrive at famous Hampstead Heath, 760 acres of ancient woodlands, meadows, ponds, swimming baths,a great place for walkers, joggers, picnics or relaxing.
From the apartment It takes 2 minutes to walk to Hampstead Tube (Underground Train). Visit Primrose Hill in 2 stops, Camden Town world famous market in 3 stops or arrive at London’s West End in 15 minutes to the various tourist attractions. There is also an Overground Station which takes you to the largest Shopping Centre in Europe in East London in 30 minutes.
Hampstead is well known for its traditional pubs, including the Holly Bush (famous for celebrities), the Spaniards Inn (established in 1585) The Flask, originally an 18th Century natural spring bottling house, The Old Bull and Bush, which was sung about by the Beatles and many more pubs.

HISTORY OF HAMPSTEAD
The Heaths inspiring wildness and the Hampstead Village community have been a natural home to many famous artists, writers, musicians, poets and thinkers including John Keats, John Constable, William Blake, Sigmund Freud, Karl Marx, George Orwell, George Bernard Shaw, James Joyce, Ian Fleming, John le Carre, Lord Bryon, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Charles Dickens, TS Elliot, Lucian Freud, Aldous Huxlley, Samual Johnson, D H Lawrence, Henry Moore, Florence Nightinghale, Richard Wollheim and H G Wells. Many celebreties choose Hampstead for their home.
Hampstead Village came under the London’s jurdisction in the 17th century, historically people would come up to Hampstead for the fresh air and to explore the Heath as per their doctors recommendation. There was also a natural spa where people would come to bathe in the natural spring water which was said to have healing properties, to this day people still swim in the natural ponds on Hampstead Heath all year round.

Please make yourself welcome, please note no smoking, no candles and no pets are allowed within the apartment. No additional guests and not suitable for parties. Please respect the neighbours by minimising noise.
For bookings of 2 weeks or longer a cleaner will be available once a week to clean the apartment.
Hi I'm a helpful, friendly Londoner and experienced Host. I work in IT Project Managment and Property and have many interests ranging from self development, music, reading, spiritual, exercise, yoga, walking, exploring markets, discovering places of historical interest, socialising and travel. I was born and bred in NW London and love everything about this great cosmopolitan city.
