My colourful house is reflective of my own style and the title for my listing sums it up perfectly! The room available to rent is lovely and quiet and furnished in a contemporary style with original fireplace, painted white floorboards and a view out to my rear garden.
This friendly house is situated on a lovely tree-lined street in an upmarket area of southwest London. Owned by a graphic designer, it's a unique and interesting place to stay with distinctive interior features and a wonderful 'contemporary style' rear garden - perfect for chilling out after exploring London's bustling streets and attractions, or visiting any of the many local amenities that East Sheen and Mortlake have to offer.
The accommodation includes a bright double bedroom that overlooks the quiet rear garden, with a well designed modern bathroom just down the hallway, (shared with host).
Although breakfast isn't officially provided, if you need your cup of coffee as soon as you wake up, there's a great Nespresso coffee machine in the room. You're welcome to tea or coffee downstairs in the kitchen too, or you can bring your own breakfast and make use of the kitchen and garden - I can highly recommend the bakery just down the road offering delicious croissants and the like!
A warm welcome awaits you if you choose this house for your London visit!

Guests are invited to make use of all the communal living areas and the free wifi. Parking is available in the street, should you need it, and there are no parking restrictions. Guests staying for more than a few days are welcome to use the washer and dryer, if needed, just ask.

Come and go freely but be considerate of making late night noise.
Make proper use of the house alarm system when you enter/leave.

Above all, enjoy yourself in the house!
I'm a graphic designer by profession and that flavours the things I do, the places I go and the people I enjoy. I'd say my house is stylish, with an eclectic edge. I read that phrase in a magazine recently and thought, yes, that's my house (and me) in a nutshell! It's not a house that takes itself too seriously and that's what makes it a happy place to be. I've combined good design with an element of fun and I hope you'll love it as much as I do.
I consider myself one of the lucky ones - I work nearby, enjoy what I do every day, and I do my best to get out and about in London as often as i can. I'm looking forward to sharing my house and enthusing about what London and the local area has to offer.
I am known locally for zipping about in my lime green baby fiat 500 - it's a 1972 classic and puts a smile on many a face. You might just get a spin in it yourself if you're in need of a lift somewhere!
Hope to see you in my part of London soon! It's a great city and exploring some of the unknown neighbourhoods is something pretty special that most travellers don't get to experience first hand. If you want to know anything, just ask, I'm always up for a fun conversation, especially if its about a great restaurant to try or unusual quirky neighbourhood to explore...
