We love to meet people from new places and hear new stories, unfortunately we will be out for Christmas and we wont meet you, but our neighbor, Leo, can help you with anything you need.
We will be in touch with you (if so you want) to help you have a great experience! :)
We love to go for walks, and nestled in the hotel zone it is easy to get to around to many terrific venues and sights, which is truly what makes this condo so special
Plaza Pescador, a charming strip mall with great restaurants, drinking & cafe establishments is within just a couple blocks of the house.
The best part is that the beach is only a 5 min walk away, and it is quiet and absolutely gorgeous.
If you feel like walking the beach a little bit, head towards the Holiday Inn and you can see the freshwater estuary meeting with the ocean. It is fed by an underground river, the Rio San Jose, flowing from the nearby Laguna Mountains. The estuary is the town’s most peaceful place and a protected wildlife sanctuary, home to many bird species including frigate birds, sparrow hawks, white herons and red-tailed hawks.
Every Tuesday, enjoy the town fireworks from the terrace while having a glass of wine.
Walk to the main plaza in downtown where you will find many fine restaurants and shopping and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of tourists and locals mingling together. It seems that the historic center is like a magnet that draws everyone toward the town square.
Stop at the gorgeous old Mission which has been there for over 250 years, built by the Jesuits.
And don’t miss the Art Walk every Thursday at the Art District (6-9pm) with quite a few well renowned galleries. This charming walk down cobblestone streets is a must for every visitor to San Jose. The local artwork is captivating and most galleries have some wine for tasting =)
The easiest way to get around is renting a car. Cabo is pretty small so it is very easy to drive around.
You will find taxis 2 min walk from the apartment on the main street or you can jump in a yellow school bus (public bus) to get around town and for $1 dollar per person it is worth the experience. It is safe and popular among tourists staying at the hotels.
However, to get to the apartment from the airport I would advise against public transportation which can be hectic. Besides renting a car or private taxis, there are shuttles which you can find at the airport for a reduce rate ($15 US per person approx)
