Since I am not always around I do not interact a lot but I am always available by mobile if needed. My assistant lives upstairs in a independent flat. Please be aware that someone will have to water all the plants in the patios every 2 days, let me know the best time for that. :)
This is a very safe and very well located neighborhood.
Around: convenience stores, restaurants, gas station, drugstores and hospitals. Close to downtown Monterrey and San Pedro.
The Catarina and San Carlos are 2 really really good regional cuisine restaurants, Los Arcos also (sea food) all in ave. Morones Prieto, walking distance from the house. (like 4 blocks)
There are some museums nearby: Marco, the contemporary art museum as well as the History Museum are located downtown by the macroplaza, which is 15 mins by car. The Fundidora park, a former steel factory which now have several museums and exhibitions spaces as well as cinema and performing theaters is located also like 20 mins away by car. In there is possible to rent a bike or just walk around the gardens, eat at the Lingote, a very good restaurant inside Museo del Acero (steel museum), visit an exhibition or watch a film.
If you like nature you should go to the mountains and into the forest at Chipinque National park for a view of the full city, or to the dramatic Huasteca national park, to see more or less where the Santa Catarina river is coming from...both 20 minutes by car. UANL medicine school campus is located like 15 minutes by taxi ($40 MX aprox.)
Main UANL campus around 25 mins. by taxi or it can be reach by a bus which you can take 3 blocks from home.
Hospital San Jose is 5 minutes away from home, Hospital Muguerza is 15 minutes away ( by car)
best way to move around is in a taxi, UBER!
If you have no money and a lot of time to waste there are a few bus lines that you can take a few blocks from home, more info here: (URL HIDDEN)
